Reflection And Celebration

With the Holy Month upon us, we are enjoying a period of reflection and, even for those of us who do not observe, this is a special time when we take the opportunity to adopt the habits of our Arab hosts and join together with friends and family for evening gatherings where good food and a great atmosphere are what’s on the menu. I love our 5 Over 5 interview this month with Patrick Blanc, who was in town to unveil his fantastical vertical gardens in two of the restaurants at Printemps Doha. He’s a man whose childhood hobby has become his life’s passion and he’s inspired me to be a bit more adventurous with my small plot.

As the Fact Dining Awards draw ever closer, my colleagues have been out and about sampling some delicious food around town.
