anniversary Dear FACC-Chicago Members and Friends, Welcome to La Nuit des Etoiles 2018, and the FACC’s 40th anniversary celebration! We have a fantastic soirée in store, inspired by the myriad innovations, savoirfaire, beauty and world-renowned gastronomy of Lyon and the Alps. Enjoy the tastes, colors, and culture of this rich region of France throughout the evening. We are thrilled to present start-ups from Lyon whose technologies and creations have drawn international acclaim in their respective fields and are a testament to the region’s vibrant and diverse economic activity. Tonight, we are also officially launching the FACC Chicago Foundation, our independent 501(c)3 created to connect our member organizations to the local community through education scholarships and youth training programs. All proceeds from tonight’s live auction and paddle raise will fund scholarships for internationally-minded Chicago Public School graduates as they pursue technical, pre-professional or traditional college degrees. Please help us reach our goal of supporting three students in our first year! Finally, La Nuit des Etoiles kicks off of the Chicago’s 4th annual French Innovation Weeks, a series of presentations and programs around the Midwest that showcase the best of French innovation in science, technology and the arts. We have been happy to serve the region’s vibrant French-American business community over the last four decades through our events, trade services and business development resources. We’re proud of our many accomplishments during that time. Thank you to the past and current members, partners, supporters, board and staff who have made the FACC what it is today.
