About the authors Tim Horton is the Research Director of the Fabian Society. He is a member of Walthamstow CLP and branch secretary of Walthamstow West Labour Party. David Pinto-Duschinsky is a Research Associate at the Fabian Society. He worked previously as a special advisor at the Home Office and at the Prime Minister's Strategy Unit. He is a member of Hackney North and Stoke Newington CLP. Jessica Studdert is a Researcher and the Events Director at the Fabian Society. She has been a social policy research analyst at the Citizen’s Advice Bureau. She is a member of Islington South CLP.
