How will a water heater be installed? Electric water heater installation is much simpler than gas water heater installation, but it is also a challenge. If you're not comfortable dealing with electricity or plumbing, we consider hiring a contractor for the effevtive installation of your new water heater; they'll also usually dispose of your old one. Steps to install Step 1 At the circuit breaker pad, turn off the power to your water heater. To make sure the water heater is turned off, use a voltage tester to check the wiring. Until operating on the water heater, make sure it is not getting any energy until turning it off at the circuit breaker. Step 2 Open a hot water faucet and run it until the water is cool. This move is not discussed in the film, but it ensures that you can empty the tank safely without getting scalded. Switch off the water heater's cold water source (located at the top of the unit). Connect a hose to the drain valve on the water heater. Drain the tank by opening the valve and draining it outside (or to a floor drain, or even into buckets).

Step 3 Switch off electric wires on top of the radiator. Make sure you first shut off the breaker at the breaker box. Test the wires with a tester before starting.

Cap off the cables and mark (or picture) them to prevent embarrassment in the future when your new water heater is hooked up. Step 4 Remove the production chains' hot and cold water. You may have to break the pipes if your water heater was plumbed with copper piping. Using a tubing (pipe) cutter to sever the tubes and let the pipe go as far as you can. You should cut the T & P discharge tube from a T&P valve and then reuse it on the new water heater if it is in good condition. Step 5 Remove an old water heater with a dolly until the tank is empty. Drag in the current tank. The fresh tank is advisable to put in a drain pot. Be sure that the supply of electricity reaches the tank properly. Check double for repair access to panels and the drain valve. Step 6 You have to prepare the tubing with a copper cloth if your old water pump used the plumbing then you have to cut the pipes. Rub the sandpaper tissue at the ends of the valves to the brightness of them.

Step 7 To view electrical wires remove the junction box cover.

Join the bottom wire to the green bottom screw. Attach other cables with wire loops. Attach them. Use the previous wires as a reference to add the wires as you removed them. Step 8 Bring together the supply lines for hot and cold water. Be sure that the cold water line is connected to the cold water supply input on the water heater (it's simple to make the error of hot-cold). You can prefer to plumb it with the copper pipe again when your old copper hot tubes are used. However, we suggest that lightweight tubes be used to bind. It's not only simpler but also a suggested earthquake protection feature. Based on your original design and choice, your plumbing can differ. Step 9 Install the T&P valve discharge tube. The end of the pipe must be 6 cm from the surface. 

Use a cup covering 3/4" male.

On the external fitting and the inside of the valve fitting, the paint pipe dope.

Join and tighten the mounting to the T&P valve.

Check the end of the tube fitting.

Step 10 Switch on the circuit breaker at your key power box when your water heater tank is filled with water. CAUTION: If power is switched on before the tank has filled, the electrical elements can dry fire until fully overflowed. This will destroy your elements of electric heating. To sum-up Depending on the chosen system, the water heater is installed. though for unexperienced, this process of installing water heater is complex and need a trained expert for the Quick installation.
