Stand up for politics… as well as laughs > CORBY A SCOTTISH comedian who has won a Perrier Award and has appeared with Frank Sinatra at Glasgow’s Ibrox stadium, is coming out of semi-retirement to support the Labour Party in a comedy night in Corby on Sunday October 7. Arnold Brown (pictured left), who also starred in cult 1980s television shows The Young Ones and Comic Strip Presents, is taking part in a night of comedy and politics, called Stand up for Labour.
