¡Bienvenidos a la 9º edición de Expotoons! Es un inmenso orgullo recibirlos nuevamente en el Festival Internacional de Animación, un festival que año a año crece se fortalece y devuelve resultados a la industria y al sector académico a lo largo del año. Desde su primer edición, Expotoons ha tenido como objetivo consolidarse como un espacio de difusión de la animación, entendiendo a ésta como motor de crecimiento de la industria audiovisual y cultural: generando intercambio de tendencias, tecnologías, conocimientos, propuestas artísticas y experiencias entre los distintos países, es por eso que cada año nos visitan destacados profesionales de la animación mundial que nos acercan a las últimas tendencias e innovaciones. En esta oportunidad recibimos a expertos de Canadá, Estados Unidos, España, Marruecos, México, Brasil, Chile, Uruguay, Colombia y Perú y realizaremos las tradicionales rondas de negocios dentro del marco de MICA, Mercado de Industrias Culturales Argentinas con el fin de potenciar las posibilidades de negocios. Las mismas tendrán lugar en el CCK y cuentan con el apoyo de Proargentina dependiente de la Subsecretaría de Comercio Exterior del Ministerio de Economía y Finanzas Públicas de la Nación, en forma conjunta con la Dirección Nacional de Industrias Culturales del Ministerio de Cultura de la Nación. Compartiremos también, el día sábado 5, conferencias temáticas: “Cómo se anima una película” (Metegol), “Estrategias de co - producción en animación y transmedia”, “Pipeline de animación 2D Digital”, entre otras. Otro evento a destacar es el Reel Day, el espacio diseñado para que cada productor argentino y latinoamericano presente su proyecto y / o servicio ante un auditorio colmado de potenciales clientes internacionales del sector de adquisiciones de canales, inversores, co-productores, interesados en co-producir con el mercado argentino y regional. Este año el público de Expotoons premiará a la MEJOR PRESENTACIÓN DEL REEL DAY. Remarcamos también en esta edición la importancia del trabajo en conjunto entre los países latinoamericanos para lograr la consolidación de nuestro continente como región productora y exportadora, aspirando a lograr un sello distintivo con productos de animación regional y así posicionarnos cada vez más fuertes en los mercados internacionales. Hay novedades muy enriquecedoras para compartir, como la continuación del trabajo que estamos haciendo desde la Red de Festivales, creada en 2014, compuesta por Animamundi (Brasil), CutOut Fest (Mexico), Axis Fest (Mexico), Chilemonos (Chile), AnimaCordoba (Argentina) y Expotoons (Argentina) donde trabajamos permanentemente para encontrar nuevas formas de co- producción. Así es que con el objetivo de valorizar la cadena de producción y buscando fortalecer la región lanzamos el PRIMER CONCURSO DE GUIONES LATINOAMERICANO, que cuenta con el apoyo y asesoramiento de Argentores y el Instituto Nacional de Cine y Artes Audiovisuales para la construcción de las bases.

En otra inolvidable jornada lanzaremos la segunda edición del concurso “BÚSQUEDA DE TALENTOS PARA LA CREACIÓN DE VIDEOS MUSICALES “ (organizado por Leader Entertainment y Expotoons), el mismo tiene como objetivo encontrar talentos que impulsen el desarrollo de la Animación argentina. La primera edición en 2014 obtuvo un gran éxito, logrando en el sitio “Reino Infantil” de youtube más de 10. 000. 000 de vistas el primer puesto, 5.000. 000 el segundo y más de 1.000.000 de vistas el tercer puesto. Este año repetimos la convocatoria e incrementamos el premio: con una primera etapa de $12. 000 a los 12 proyectos seleccionados y un adicional de $ 20. 000 para el video ganador. Otro de los ejes fundamentales es la evolución de las tecnologías y el cambio en el uso y consumo por parte del público, motivo más que suficiente para repensar todo y plantear nuestra actividad desde un análisis que incluya el desarrollo de contenidos con otros formatos, nuevas ideas, lenguajes y “otras” pantallas. Invitamos a Pablo Aristizabal, Creador del Transmedia IDoTainment, conformado por la Red de Aprendizaje Social Aula365, quien dictará un workshop y presentará la primer experiencia inmersiva de una serie de televisión en realidad virtual “Oculus Rift”; Pablo Toscano, Director de Animación Ubisoft, quien presentará los últimos avances en materia de creación de cinemáticas de video juegos de alta calidad; Hassan el Youbi, Director/ Productor de Sandman Pictures y responsable de los efectos especiales de AVATAR (James Cameron) quien se encuentra actualmente en la búsqueda de una superproducción con una mirada global; Jorge Edelstein, Director de Desarrollo de Contenidos, Disney Channels Latin America, The Walt Disney Company Latin America; Emiliano Sartoris, Director Senior de Contenidos para la región Andina, Argentina y Cono Sur de los canales Cartoon Network, Boomerang y Tooncast y Hernán La Greca, Director Sr de Producción Original de Cartoon Network, entre otros. En cuanto a las proyecciones de la competencia oficial, este año contamos con material de más de 75 países que se proyectarán durante los 4 días del festival en Espacios INCAA Gaumont. Todas con entrada libre y sin costo. Esperamos que disfruten y aprovechen intensamente cada uno de los días del festival, ya que es valiosísimo el aporte que transmitirán nuestros invitados. Welcome to the 9th edition of Expotoons! It is an immense pride to welcome you again at the International Animation Festival, a festival that grows year after year, strengthening and returning its results to the industry and to the academic sector throughout the year. Since its first edition, Expotoons main goal has been to consolidate as a space for the diffusion of animation, understanding it as a growth engine in the audiovisual and cultural industry: generating an exchange of trends, technologies, knowledge, artistic proposals and experiences between countries. That is why each year we are visited by outstanding professionals of the animation world that bring us closer to the latest trends and innovations. In this opportunity we welcome experts from Canada, United States, Spain, Morocco, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Uruguay, Colombia and Peru, and will make the traditional rounds of business within the framework of MICA, Argentine Cultural Industries Market in order to enhance the possibilities for business. Those will take place at the CCK and will have the support of Proargentina, that depends of the Sub-Secretary of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Economy and Public Finance of the Nation, in conjunction with the National Directorate of Cultural Industries of the Ministry of Culture of the Nation. On Saturday, September 5th we will also share thematic conferences: “How to animate a movie” (Metegol), “Co-production in animation and cross-media strategies”, “Pipeline of 2D Digital Animation”, among others. Another event to highlight is the Reel Day, designed so every Argentine and Latin American producer can present their project or service before an auditorium filled with potential international customers in the sector of channels acquisition, investors, and co-producers, interested in coproducing with the Argentine and regional market. This year Expotoons audience will reward the best presentation of the REEL DAY. In this edition, we also emphasize the importance of working together between Latin American countries to achieve the consolidation of our continent as a producing and exporting region, aiming to achieve a distinction of our regional animation products and to position ourselves increasingly stronger in international markets. There are very exciting news to share, as the continuation of the work that we have been doing from Festivals Network created in 2014. ANIMAMUNDI (Brazil), CutOut Fest (Mexico), AXIS FEST (MEXICO), Chilemonos (Chile), AnimaCordoba (Argentina) and Expotoons (Argentina) members of Festivals Network, work constantly to find new ways of co-production. That is why in order to enhance the production chain and seeking to strengthen the region, we launched the first Latin-American Scripts Contest, which has the support and advice of Argentores and the National Institute of Audiovisual Arts. In another unforgettable day we will launch the second edition of the “Music VIDEOS Creation Talent Search” contest (organized by Leader

Entertaiment and Expotoons). The contest is orientated to find talents that may boost the development of Argentinian Animation. In 2014 the first edition was a great success, making the site “Reino Infantil” (Childhood Kingdom) of Youtube earn more than 10. 000. 000 views on its first place, 5,000. 000 the second and more than 1,000,000 views of third place.This year we repeat the call and increase the prize: a first phase of $12. 000 to the 12 selected projects and an additional $20.000 for the winning video. Another of the cornerstones of the Festival is the evolution of technologies and the change in the use and consumption by the public, reason enough to rethink everything and establish our activities from a different analysis that includes content development in other formats, new ideas, languages, and “other” screens. Junto con el “Institut Français d’Argentine”, seleccionamos cortos y largometrajes premiados en diferentes festivales realizados por artistas franceses. El foco está en destacar filmes que hicieron historia y también en las últimas obras de calidad que han sido producidas en el país europeo, uno de los más importantes en materia de animación y cultura. Se destaca la obra “Le Roi et l’Oiseau” (El rey y el pájaro)-1980-, del legendario Paul Grimault en una versión remasterizada. También los cortometrajes Le moine et le poisson (El monje y el pescado) – (Nominado al Oscar y BAFTA 1995) y Le trop petit prince – (Ganador Oso de Plata Berlín International Film Festival 2003).

PROGRAMACIÓN ESPECIAL FUERA DE CONCURSO

Uno de los pioneros en la animación francesa, siempre dedicado a intentar llevar simpleza a sus historias tanto en el cine como en la televisión y hasta en el teatro. Fue Presidente de ASIFA (International Animated Film Association) entre 1994 y 2000 y recibió más de 25 premios internacionales. Proyectaremos algunos de sus mejores cortometrajes, entre los que figuran los laureados “Les Trois Inventeurs” (premio BAFTA) y “La Légende du pauvre bossu” (Premio César), además del largometraje “Les contes de la nuit” (Los cuentos de la noche), nominado al Oso de Oro en el Festival de Berlín 2011.

El Consejo de Cine Británico es “socio cultural” de la Academia de Cine y Artes Televisivos Británica (BAFTA) y este año nos uniremos a ellos por cuarta vez para exhibir los cortos nominados como parte de nuestra misión en la promoción internacional de lo mejor de la industria del cine de cortometrajes británico. El Reino Unido tiene una larga tradición en la producción de cortos de calidad mundial y tanto BAFTA como British Council reconocen el valor de alimentar la diversidad y el talento demostrado por los realizadores de cortometrajes.- Proyectando los nominados de este año tanto en las categorías mejor corto como en mejor corto de animación, esperamos encontrar nuevo público para los cortometrajes y sus directores. Los cortos siempre deben estar acreditados como “ Corto nominado 2015 EE BAFTA”

PREMIOS MCLAREN

El Consejo de Cine Británico (British Council) en asociación con el Festival Internacional de Cine de Edinburgo, presenta el programa de cortos animados británicos nominados al prestigioso Premio McLaren. Desde su primera entrega en el año 1990, este galardón otorga un nuevo enfoque a los cortos animados británicos reconociendo en ellos el espíritu creativo. Este premio debe su nombre a Norman McLaren, un renombrado animador de origen escocés. La selección de los nominados a los premios McLaren entre 2008 y 2012, ofrece un vistazo al gran talento creativo que encontramos en el Reino Unido hoy en día. El programa tiene una duración aproximada de 61 minutos.

Dentro del marco de “Festival de Festivales”, ofreceremos una selección curada de cortos de animación de artistas brasileños de excelencia, exhibidos en la última edición del Festival. Entre ellos estará GUIDA, de Rosana Urbes (ganadora de Annecy 2015: “Premio Jean-Luc Xiberras para una ópera prima” y “Distinción Especial Premio Fipresci”). FILE es una organización cultural sin fines de lucro fundada en el año 2000 con el objetivo de promover y motivar la investigación y producción de arte en lenguaje electrónico a modo de establecer un nuevo punto de partida al debate sobre tecnología y cultura en Latinoamérica. El Festival Internacional de Lenguaje electrónico (FILE) tiene su sede en el Centro Cultural Fiesp – Ruth Cardoso, San Pablo, Brasil.

Along with the “Institut Français D’argentine”, we have selected short and feature films made by French artists awarded at different festivals. The focus is to highlight films that made history and in the latest quality works that have been produced in France, one of the best countries when we speak of in animation and culture. “Le Roi et l’oiseau” (The King and the bird) 1980, stands out, a work of the legendary Paul Grimault in a remastered version. Also short films “Le moine et le poisson” (the monk and the fish) - nominated for the Oscars and BAFTA 1995, and “Le trop petit prince” - (silver bear winner of Berlin International Film Festival 2003).

He is one of the pioneers of french animation, always dedicated to try bringing simplicity to their stories on film, on television and in the theatre. The BAFTA 2015 Short Film Nominees programme British Council Film is the ‘cultural partner’ of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) and we are partnering for a fourth time in 2015 to showcase the short film nominees as part of our remit to promote the best of British short filmmaking internationally. The UK has a long tradition of producing world class short film and both BAFTA and British Council recognise the value of nurturing the diversity and talent demonstrated by short filmmakers producing short film. Drawing from the 2015 nominees in both Best Short (Live Action) and Best Short (Animation) BAFTA categories we aim to find new international audiences for the films and their filmmakers. The films should always be credited as ‘EE BAFTA Short Film Nominees 2015’.

McLAREN AWARDS

British Council Film, in partnership with Edinburgh International Film Festival, presents a package of recent British animation nominated for the prestigious McLaren Award. First given in 1990, this award provides a focus for new British short animation and recognises the spirit of creativity. The award is named in honour of Norman McLaren, the renowned Scottish-born animator. Drawing from the McLaren Awards nominated films from 2008 to 2012, the programme provides an insight into the great creative talent producing work in the UK today. Program is approximately 61 minutes

FILE

Inside the frame of “Festival of Festivals”, we will offer a cured selection of animation short films from Brazilian artists of excellence, exhibited in the last edition of the Festival. Between them will be “GUIDA”, of Rosana Urbes (winner of Annecy 2015: “Jean-Luc Xiberras Award for a First Film” and “Fipresci Award - Special Distinction”). FILE is a non-profit cultural organization founded in 2000 with a main goal of promoting and motivating the research and art production on electronic language, as a way to set a new meeting point for discussing Technology & Culture in Latin America. The FILE – Electronic Language International Festival takes place at Centro Cultural Fiesp – Ruth Cardoso, Sao Paulo, Brazil. The programe occupies the art gallery of Sesi-SP, the Fiesp space, the theater and the mezzanine of the cultural center that hosts the exhibition with interactive installations, games, machinimas, internet artworks, performances and workshops.

FIRST LATIN AMERICAN SCRIPTS CONTEST

Expotoons tiene el honor de realizar, en su 9ª edición el lanzamiento del PRIMER CONCURSO DE GUIONES LATINOAMERICANO. El mismo está enmarcado dentro del panel latinoamericano que cada año tiene lugar en el festival y estará compuesto por 7 prestigiosos y talentosos referentes del sector de la animación internacional: Erwin Gomez Viñales y Margarita Cid Lizondo (CHILE), Miguel del Moral (MEXICO), César Cohelo (BRASIL), Liliana Rincón Ladino (COLOMBIA), Graciela Maglie y Rosanna Manfredi (ARGENTINA). El objetivo del concurso es, en primer lugar la puesta en valor de la cadena de producción desde la generación del guión hasta las pantallas, para llegar al público con un producto de alta calidad no sólo en la técnica de animación sino también en su contenido y transmisión de valores. En segundo lugar despertar el interés de encontrar formas de producción que nos hagan crecer como región generando fondos específicos para estos fines y comprender que el trabajo de co - producción latinoamericana es el rumbo que debemos seguir. El concurso cuenta con el apoyo y asesoramiento de Argentores y el Instituto Nacional de Cine y Artes Audiovisuales para la construcción de las bases.

Expotoons is honored to present in its 9th edition the release of the first scripts contest of Latin America. It is framed within the Latin American panel that takes place every year at the festival and will be composed of 7 prestigious and talented leaders of the international animation industry: Erwin Gomez Viñales and Margarita Cid Lizondo (CHILE), Miguel de Moral (MEXICO), Cesar Cohelo (Brazil), Liliana Rincon Ladino (COLOMBIA) and Rosanna Manfredi (ARGENTINA). This competition was designed to appreciate the work chain from the very beginning with the draft of the screenplay till the product finally reaches the public with a high quality result not only in the animation technique but also in its content and transmission of values. It is also very important to awake the interest of finding new ways of production that make us grow as a region generating specific funds for these purposes and understanding that the work of co-producing in Latin American is the path we must follow.

RESPECTO DEL JURADO

El jurado estará compuesto por prestigiosos y reconocidos escritores para garantizar la ideoneidad en la selección de los trabajos ya que aspiramos a obtener un producto final de alto contenido.

LOS GUIONES

Serán cortometrajes de 5 países diferentes con una duración de 18 minutos cada uno y un hilo conductor, para conformar finalmente un largometraje final de 90 minutos.

RED DE FESTIVALES

La Red de Festivales tendrá un lugar de relevancia dentro del concurso ya que durante un año tendrá como objetivo que aquellos guiones ganadores sean efectivamente producidos con el aporte de cada país. Asimismo, el compromiso de distribuidores y canales para garantizar la exhibición en las pantallas de los 5 países involucrados.

CONCURSO “TALENTOS PARA LA CREACIÓN DE VIDEOS MUSICALES 2015” Por segundo año consecutivo y después del exitoso resultado que tuvo el concurso en 2014, Leader Entertaiment y Expotoons convocan a animadores profesionales y/o estudiantes con residencia en Argentina a participar del Concurso de Animación “TALENTOS PARA LA CREACIÓN DE VIDEOS MUSICALES 2015”. El concurso incrementa su premio en esta segunda edición y premiará en una primer etapa a 12 proyectos seleccionados que recibirán $ 12. 000 cada uno para la producción de dicho video y el PREMIO AL GANADOR SERÁ DE UN ADICIONAL DE $ 20. 000. El producto final es un video con contenido infantil dirigido a niños de 0 a 4 años de edad, el cual será parte del contenido del sitio en youtube “Reino Infantil” de Leader Entertainment y tiene como objetivo encontrar nuevos talentos que impulsen el desarrollo de la Animación Argentina. Los concursantes pueden presentarse individualmente o en grupo y la animación puede ser en 2d y 3d.

Asimismo, durante los días del festival anunciaremos los ganadores del concurso 2014, que ha tenido una muy fuerte viralización, con más de 10. 000. 000 de vistas el ganador, 5. 000. 000 el segundo puesto y alcanzó 1. 000. 000 de vistas el tercer puesto.

RED DE FESTIVALES FESTIVALS NETWORK Continuando con la iniciativa que en el año 2014 tomó el Festival Internacional Chilemonos, de convocar a los festivales más relevantes del continente para constituir la primera red de festivales latinoamericanos de animación, este año en la 9ª edición de Expotoons tendremos un lugar especial para dicha Red. Es un honor para nosotros formar parte y recibir a los representantes de los países que la conforman para continuar alimentando y fortaleciéndola.

Continuing with the initiative taken by the International Chilemonos Festival in 2014 of summing the most relevant festivals on the continent, this year in the 9th edition of Expotoons we will have a special place to set up the first Latin American Animation Festivals Network. El objetivo de la iniciativa es levantar una plataforma de colaboración en el continente, como motor de difusión para fortalecer los lazos, potenciar el desarrollo y talento artístico, y con ello fomentar la industria de animación latinoamericana.

The point of the initiative is to raise a continental collaboration platform, as a way of strengthen ties, enhance development and artistic talent, and thereby encourage Latin American animation industry.

Es así como la “red de festivales” se configura siendo la mayor ventana de la difusión de la animación latinoamericana al mercado internacional y una oportunidad única en la región.

This is how the “Festivals Network” is set to be the greatest diffusion window for Latin American animation to the international market and a unique opportunity in this region.

ABOUT THE JURY

The jury shall consist of a group of recognized and prestigious writers to guarantee the suitability in the selection of the works. We aim to obtain a high quality final product.

The competing scripts will be short films from 5 different countries with an 18 minutes duration each and a common main theme, to finally create a 90 minutes feature film.

The Festivals network will have a main spot within the competition since each winning script will be actually produced with the contribution of each country throughout the year. It is also the commitment of distributors and channels to ensure the screening of the 5 involved countries final results.

CONTEST “MUSIC VIDEO CREATION TALENTS 2015”

For the second consecutive year, and after a successful outcome of the 2014 contest, Leader Entertainment and Expotoons call out for professional animators and/or students living in Argentina to enter the animation contest “MUSIC VIDEO CREATION TALENTS 2015” The contest increases its prize in this second edition. First 12 selected projects will receive $12.000 each one for the production of the video and then, THE WINNER´S PRIZE WILL BE $20.000. The final product will be a children´s video for audiences from 0 to 4 years old, which will be part of the content of the Leader Entertainment´s site “Reino Infantil” (Children´s kingdom) in Youtube and aims to find new talents that could boost the development of animation in Argentina. Contestants could run individually or in group, and the animation can be in 2D or 3D.

VIEWS OF THE 2014 CONTEST

In addition, during the days of the festival we will announce the winners of the 2014 competition, which has had a very strong viralization, with over 10,000,000 views the winner, 5,000. 000 the second place and 1.000.000 views the third.

The REEL DAY is a space designed to propitiate businesses, possible co -productions, strategic alliances and to obtain funding for new projects. A place where each Argentine and/or Latin American producer is given the opportunity to present their project or service in front of an auditorium filled with potential international customers such as channels investors and co-producers interested in co-producing with Argentine and regional market. Potential buyers will attend the REEL DAY looking for the newest local projects. Se inició en el mundo de la animación trabajando para los estudios de García Ferré como opacador de acetatos en el largometraje “Manuelita”. Ya en “Corazón, las Alegrías de Pantriste” estaba participando en carácter de dibujante. Como animador 2D trabajó para largometrajes nacionales como “Teo, Cazador Intergaláctico”, “Patoruzito” e “Isidoro”. En cuanto a la animación internacional se destacó en las películas “Gizaku” y “Una película de Huevos”. Para el mundo de la TV trabajó en gran cantidad de Comerciales y separadores de Cartoon Networks - Boomerang channel. Su pasión por las películas de Pixar lo incentivó a desarrollarse en animación 3D comenzando con varios cortos para Gaturro y motivó a sus directores a ofrecerle la dirección de animación del largometraje. En su carrera en el mundo del 3D fue designado como supervisor adicional de animación para la serie de TV “DINO DAN” y supervisor general de animación para la serie de TV “Peter Punk” (Disney Channel). Actualmente participa en el mundo de la animación ofreciendo todo su conocimiento desde su empresa Blobfilms. Trabaja en proyectos de animación hace más de 25 años. Sus cortos y series han tenido premios nacionales e internacionales de festivales y eventos como Anima Mundi, Festival de Chicago, Divercine, Licensing Challenge/ MipCom Jr. y Preux Janeusse Iberoamericano. Creador y director de las series “Mi AmigaZazo” (mejor programa infantil de televisión de 2010 según APCA - Asociación Paulista de Críticos de Arte-) y “Cuarto De Jobi”. Es también socio fundador y director creativo de la productora y estudio de animación 2DLab. Dado el éxito en televisión, VOD, teatro y licenciamiento de sus personajes inicia la producción del largometraje de “Mi AmigaZazo” Ha creado y dirigido las animaciones del especial “Toquinho no Mundo da Criança”, en DVD distribuido por Bis coito Fino. Entre 2005 y 2006 fue presidente de ABCA (Associação Brasileira de Cinema de Animação) y es el director general de CRIA, un centro de referencia con foco en la formación profesional y en la calificación artística para producciones de animación de larga escala.

Art Director of the Post production and Visual effects Department and Project Manager of Hook Up Animation Desde 1997, Diego ha trabajado en numerosos comerciales, series de TV y películas, desarrollando arte conceptual, fondos, diseño y color. También ha operado como Director, Director de arte y Supervisor de Post Producción. Es miembro fundador de Hook Up Animation, actualmente está a cargo de la Dirección de Arte, del Departamento de Post Producción y Efectos Visuales y es también el Project Manager. Since 1997, Diego has worked in several commercials, TV series and movies, developing conceptual art, backgrounds, design, and color. He has also operated as Director, Art Director and Post production Supervisor. He is a founding member of Hook Up Animation, and currently he is in charge of the art direction of the Post production and Visual effects Department as well as being Project Manager.

Andres Lieban has been working on animation for over 25 years. His short films and series has won several national and international festivals awards such as Anima Mundi, Chicago´s Festival, Divercine, Licensing Challenge/ MipCom Jr. and Preux Janeusse Iberoamericano. Creator an director of “Mi AmigaZazo” series (best children´s television show 2010 of Art Critics Association of Sao Paulo) and “Cuarto de Jobi”. He is Founder Partner and Creative Director of production and animation company 2Dlab. Given his success in television, VOD, theatre and his characters licensing, he started the production of feature film “Mi AmigaZazo” He has also worked in commercials and international tv productions such as Disney´s series and directed the animations of “Toquinho no Mundo da Criança” DVD, distributed around Brazil by Biscoito fino. Between 2005 and 2006 he was president of ABCA (Brazilian Association of Animation Film) where he is still working as a counselor. He is General Manager on CRIA, a reference center focused in offering qualified vocational and artistic education for big animation productions.

Desde esta posición, fue responsable de innovadoras investigaciones de mercado que involucran a todos los canales del portafolio de Turner en Latinoamérica, tales como “Screens” y “Emotionology”, entre otras. Se incorporó a la compañía en 2004, desempeñándose desde entonces como Gerente y luego Director de Investigación de Ventas Publicitarias. Anteriormente trabajó como Gerente de Investigación en Mindshare, la Central de Medios del Grupo WPP. Nacido en Argentina, realizó estudios en la Universidad Nacional de Quilmes y en la Universidad de Ciencias Empresariales y Sociales (UCES). Durante 14 años trabajó en TELEFE desarrollándose dentro de varias áreas: producción, coordinación y dirección de programación y contenidos, así como también en la Dirección del Departamento de Telefe Internacional. En junio de 2011 ingresa en el INCAA en la Gerencia de Acción Federal y colabora con la Gerencia de Televisión creada en el año 2013, llevando más de 4 años en el Instituto de Cine y Artes Audiovisuales, en los cuales se han desarrollado varios Concursos Audiovisuales y también en Mercados Internacionales habiendo logrado la participación de Argentina en Mipcom como país de honor. Durante estos años ha participado para fomentar la pluralidad de voces, el crecimiento de productoras, canales y a todos los que de alguna u otra manera sienten la pasión por lo audiovisual. For 14 years Ezequiel has worked in TELEFE on different areas such as production, coordination and direction of programming and content, as well as on the Direction Department of Telefe International. In June of 2011 he enters INCAA on the Federal Action Management and contributes with Television Management, created in 2013. He has been working in “Instituto de Cine y Artes Audiovisuales” (Audiovisual film and arts Institute) for 4 years hosting several audiovisual contests and also on an International Market making possible that Argentina participates in Mipcom as honor country.Lately he has been encouraging the growth of production companies and anyone who has passion for audiovisual arts.

Nació en Rosario en 1982. A los19 años se trasladó a Buenos Aires para estudiar TV y Cinematografía en la Universidad de Palermo. Mientras estudiaba comenzó a trabajar como artista 3D en diferentes estudios de animación, a mediados del 2005, cuando junto a su hermano Juan Sebastián Moreno crean Mcfly Studio (estudio de animación y producción para TV y publicidad). En 2012 crea la revista digital Moushon!, especializada en animación que logró ubicar un puesto de jerarquía y reconocimiento en la industria. En 2015 junto a Nelson Luty y Lucas Ríos abren LUTY Art Studio, un estudio especializado en arte conceptual de alta calidad para la industria del cine, televisión y videojuegos. Actualmente acaba de terminar de dirigir la serie de animación Tierra de Rufianes, ganadora del concurso nacional para series de animación del INCAA. He was born in Rosario in 1982. Holder of DAV3 Chair in UBA (Buenos Aires University) Egresado de la Universidad del Cine, comenzó a trabajar en Cinecolor Argentina en 1997, primero creando el área de data to film e intermedio digital, luego como Supervisor de Post-producción y actualmente se desempeña como Gerente de Operaciones coordinando los procesos de post-producción de largometrajes y programas de TV y del área de restauración digital. Además es Jefe de Cátedra en la Universidad del cine (FUC) en la materia Post-producción y adjunto en la materia Laboratorio. Fue docente en el ENERC y dictó numerosos cursos de post-producción en ECA, DAC, CFP, etc. Algunas de las últimas películas que pasaron por Cinecolor: “Relatos Salvajes”, “Papeles en el viento”, “La Patota”, “El Clan” y han restaurado “La historia Oficial” y “Sur” presentadas en el último Festival de Cannes, “Amalia” proyectada en el Teatro Colón y “Tire Dié” de Fernando Birri. Once Graduated from Universidad del Cine (Film University), he began working in Cinecolor Argentina in 1997, at first creating on the “data to film” area and digital intermediate, and then as post-production supervisor of featured films and tv programs as well as digital restoration area. Nació en Junín, Provincia de Buenos Aires, cursó Diseño en Comunicación Visual en la Universidad Nacional de La Plata y al mismo tiempo estudió Música. Al terminar la carrera realizó una tesis en Animación, desde ese momento (año 2005), comenzó a trabajar en diversas productoras de Buenos Aires, en los campos de Motion Graphics al inicio y más tarde en Character Animation en los rubros Publicidad y Branding. En el año 2010 funda “Plenty” junto a Pablo Alfieri. Desde allí han realizado comerciales animados para marcas como Volkswagen, Scheppes, HBO, Discovery, Sonos, MTV, Fox, Canal+, y Fox, entre muchas otras. Artista plástica, realizadora de cine y televisión, productora y gestora cultural con un vasto recorrido vinculado a las artes de la animación. En 1990 crea junto al humorista gráfico Carlos Loiseau, Caloi, el ciclo televisivo Caloi en su Tinta, el primer programa de difusión de cine de animación de autor de la televisión argentina, durante veinte años fue productora y directora de la emisión que dio origen a la productora de contenidos que lleva el mismo nombre. En el 2006 y 2007 estuvo a cargo de la sección Caloi en su Tinta del Festival Internacional de Cine de Mar del Plata. En 2010 organizó un importante Homenaje a la Animación Argentina en el Festival Internacional de Animación de Annecy, Francia. En 2012 dirigió y produjo el largometraje Ánima Buenos Aires, que reunió a una elite de artistas de la animación y la gráfica argentina. Actualmente, prepara una importante muestra de sus dibujos en Francia y presenta su libro de ilustraciones con textos de Fernando Galrito. María is a film and televisión director and producer as well as cultural Manager with vast experience in Animation Arts. In 1990 she with cartoonist Carlos Loiseau, Caloi, the “Caloi en su tinta” television cycle, the first show that promotes animation films of Argentine television. For twenty years she was producer and Director of the show that would later became a Contents Producing Company that bears the same name. In 2006 and 2007 she was in charge of section “Caloi en su tinta” of the International Film Festival of Mar del Plata. In 2010, she organized an important tribute to Argentine Animation at the Annecy International Animation Festival, France. In 2012 she directed and produced the feature film Ánima Buenos Aires, which brought together an elite of Argentinean animation and graphics artists. Currently, she is preparing an important exhibition of her drawings in France and presenting her illustrations book with texts by Fernando Galrito.

Es directora y realizadora de proyectos audiovisuales (documentales, institucionales, videos educativos, experimentales, programas Radiofónicos, y de Animación). Docente titular del Taller de Arte y Diseño Digital de la Carrera de Diseño y Arte Digital en USAL. Coordinadora del Equipo de investigación en Escuela de Diseño USAL, proyecto 2015/2016. Además es estudiante del programa de doctorado en Diseño de la Facultad de Arquitectura Diseño e Urbanismo de la UBA. She is director and producer of audiovisual projects (documentaries, institutional, educational, experimental videos, radio programs, and animation). Professor of the art and digital design workshop of Design and Digital Art Career at USAL University. Coordinator of the research team in design school, USAL, project 2015 / 2016. En 2008, comenzó a trabajar en la animación de la primera temporada de Peztronauta realizada por la productora TV PinGuim y hoy se desempeña como Director del largometraje Peztronauta. En 2011 hizo Cachoeira, un corto de animación con gotas de agua. Su película Graffiti Dança, 2013, ganó el premio como mejor animación Anima Mundi de São Paulo, Brasil, por el voto popular. Rodrigo Eba began his career in animation in 2003 when he started making short films with his cousin Fabio Mazaia. (www.campo4.com.br), donde ha producido y dirigido más de 200 anuncios, viñetas y programas de aberturas para la TV Globo, efectos especiales para películas, cortometrajes, etc. Fue director de animación de las dos temporadas de la miniserie “Hoy es el Día de María”, nominada a los Premios Emmy, y de la mini-serie “Lo que las mujeres quieren” para la Red Globo, las aperturas de la novela “Cordel Encantado” y la miniserie “Divan” y “Crazy for Them”. Dirigió la animación para la novela “Mi pequeño pedazo de tierra” para la Red Globo. Es uno de los cuatro fundadores y directores de ANIMA MUNDI. Co-autor de “Animación Ahora” en la escena internacional de la producción de animación, publicado por la editorial alemana Taschen en seis idiomas y distribuido en todo el mundo. Es consultor del Comité Río 2016 para el proceso de selección y desarrollo de las mascotas de los Juegos Olímpicos de 2016. Creador y director de las series Mi AmigaZazo (mejor programa infantil para la televisión de 2010 por la Asociación Paulista de Críticos de Arte) y Cuarto de Jobi. Trabaja en animación hace más de 20 años y ha ganado diversos premios nacionales e internacionales en festivales con sus cortometrajes y series. Trabajó también en comerciales y producciones internacionales para TV y dirigió a las animaciones del DVD Toquinho no Mundo da Criança, distribuido en Brasil por la grabadora Biscoito Fino. Entre 2005 y 2006, fue presidente de la ABCA (Asociación Brasileña de Cine de Animación), donde sigue actuando en su consejo, y es el director general del CRIA, un centro de referencia con foco en la formación profesional y calificación artística para grandes producciones de animación. En la actualidad el estudio sigue animando otras grandes producciones: la serie para televisión El Sitio (para TV Globo/Mixer), la serie adulta Corta! (para Universal Channel), el largo metraje Nautilus (para Indiana), y en simultáneo la segunda temporada y un largometraje de Mi AmigaZazo. Ilustrador desde 1998. Ha ilustrado más de 45 libros, publicados en Uruguay, Argentina, México y Noruega. Estudió Bellas artes, Arquitectura y Cine. Comenzó su carrera en la animación en el año 2000 como video artista y en 2005 comienza a dedicarse al cine como director de arte. Ha obtenido diversos reconocimientos por su trabajo en ilustración de literatura, videos musicales y cine. Ha sido jurado de proyectos y obras de cine y relato gráfico en Uruguay, Colombia y España. En 2005 comenzó su primer largometraje titulado ANINA, el cual se estrenó en la sección Generación de la 63ava Berlinale en 2013. ANINA ha sido reconocida en importantes festivales, Recorrió más de 30 países y obtuvo más de 15 premios internacionales y 4 nominaciones destacadas, entre ellas los premios Ariel y los premios Platino. Ha sido subtitulada en 10 idiomas y doblada a 5. Anina se estrenó comercialmente en Uruguay, Colombia, Ecuador, México y Rusia. Y a través de HBO en toda Latinoamérica. En 2015 se estrenará en TV en Estados Unidos y en salas en Francia y Korea. Actualmente está trabajando en animaciones para varios documentales y escribiendo su segundo largometraje animado. Alfredo Soderguit has been an Illustrator since 1998. He has illustrated more than 45 books, published in Uruguay, Argentina, Mexico and Norway. He studied fine arts, architecture and cinema. He started his career in animation in the year 2000 as a video artist. In 2005 he incursions into film industry as Art Director. Nacido en Argentina y radicado en Canadá desde el año 2003, Pablo trabaja desde hace 10 años en el estudio de Quebec de la empresa Ubisoft. Entre sus trabajos encontramos producciones como Splinter Cell y Prince of Persia entre otros grandes éxitos. Desde el año 2009, colaboró con el famoso estudio de Ubisoft en la ciudad de Montreal en la creación de las versiones Brotherhood, 3 y Black Flag de la famosa licencia Assassin’s Creed. Esta experiencia de colaboración permitió a Pablo adquirir una excelente comprensión de la realización y producción de juegos AAA y del desarrollo de « Pipelines » de trabajo con equipos que pueden alcanzar hasta 700 personas. En este momento, Pablo es el responsable principal de la dirección técnica animación en la version « Syndicate » de la famosa licencia Assassin’s Creed.

Canadian resident since 2003 he was born in Argentina and has been working for 10 years in Ubisoft offices in Quebec. Fue parte de la renovación de imagen de Cartoon Network en 2010 y supervisó la campaña al aire y fuera de la pantalla, reflejando el ADN del canal: gracioso, juguetón, audaz e irreverente. Luego de viajar a los Estados Unidos para producir singles musicales con el productor de música Chris Patry, regresó a Perú y se dedicó a la realización y producción de videoclips para campañas sociales y de culturización como “Hechos para Amar” en contra del racismo o la canción “Eterna no Soy” a favor de la protección del agua. En la actualidad Ciela es parte fundamental de Origami Studio, donde aparte de producir y escribir el guión de la primer película animada 2D NUNA, se dedica también a la realización de piezas audiovisuales artísticas como cortometrajes, videoclips, series de exportación. Ciela is a communicator with experience in musical composition and acting. She has always worked in production and direction of animated projects and is specialized in animation on the Toulouse Lautrec Institute. After traveling to the United States to produce music singles with music producer Chris Patry, she returned to Peru and started working on the creation and production of videos for social campaigns and educational such as “Hecho para amar” (Made for love) against racism or the song “Eterna no Soy” (I am not eternal) that encourage people to protect water. Currently Ciela is a fundamental part of Origami Studio, where she is writing and producing the screenplay of the first animated film 2D NUNA, focused on the production of audiovisual artistic pieces such as short films, video clips and series for export.

Ha presentado sus trabajos en lugares a destacar como el Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Barcelona, España, entre otros. Actualmente se desempeña como Director del Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes de Animación CutOut Fest de México. Y tiene dentro de sus especialidades: la Producción Musical, el bajo, la dirección de Proyectos Audiovisuales y Pos Producción Audiovisual. Self-taught musician and visual artist, he graduated with a master on Interactive Audiovisual Communication of the University of Barcelona, Spain. Una chica soñadora se enfrenta a el Fleischwelt a través de su taza de té. Palpal, una pequeña niña, se toma el té y piensa en algo. De repente Federmann se aparece nadando. La taza de té ya no es una taza sino una parte de la cabeza de Gugu. Luego de muerte y dolor, Palpal y Gugu se encuentran. A dreamy girl faces to the Fleischwelt through her tea cup. Palpal,a little girl, drinks her tea and thinks about something. Suddenly “Federmann” appears and swims. The tee cup is not a cup, but parts of Gugu´s head. After death and pain, Palpal and Gugu face to each other.

Pin-Code is a spin-off of Kikoriki series, however the focus of the show this time is on the inventor penguin called Pin. All stories are based on scientific and technical phenomena that Pin and Dokko explain to the rest of the Kikoriki through the educational and fascinating adventures, investigations and experiments. The Kikoriki are going to make a lot of discoveries, learn interesting scientific theories and experience new exciting adventures!

Every day when he returns from kindergarten, Horacio enters his room where they are expecting his magical friends, “The Claycines”. Four clay bars that are living in a craft table. They are red, yellow, blue and green. Horacio speaks with his friends, who always listen to him, give him advices and help him through funny songs.

La aseguradora suiza “Die Mobiliar” nos solicito graficar “El Método de Cazador – Recolector” a modo de conseguir un entrenamiento.

Esta app contiene las rutas que interconectan arte, legados, cultura y naturaleza para contar la historia de una región o ciudad. ‘De Halvezolenroute’ cuenta la historia de Langstraat, una region de Barbant que ha florecido en la industria del cuero. Esta animación está basada en los filmes que se encuentran en los archivos regionales y está diseñado para ser visto en teléfonos. Quien es San Crispin el patrono de los santos de las curtiembres y sus trabajadores y cuál es su relación con la vida de los ‘Langstraters’ ? As a digital guide ‘Brabant Vertelt’ leads walkers and cyclists through the wealths of the province Brabant. The app contains routes that connect art, heritage, culture and nature to tell the story of a region or city. ‘De Halvezolenroute’ tells the story of de Langstraat, a region in Brabant that flourished in the leather industry. The animation I made for this route is based on filmfootage from the regional archives and is tailored for watching on phones. Who is Saint Crispin, the patron saint of tanners and leather workers, and what is his place in the life of the ‘Langstraters’?
