SEG Systems Limited Warranty
SEG Systems guarantees their product in the below outlined scenarios and products. Under the warranty policies, product believed to be a manufacturing defect will be repaired and/or replaced upon inspection of the issue. The customer is responsible for shipping the product to SEG Systems for inspection (if the scenario deems physical inspection). At the discretion of (SEG Systems if the issue is deemed a manufacturing defect, the product will be repaired and/or replaced and returned to the customer at no cost using standard ground shipping during the products warranty period.
For products with a warranty period over 1 year, the customer is responsible for the inbound shipping costs as well as the outbound shipping costs after the first year. This excludes lighting which typically falls under a 5 and 9 year category and power supplies at 2 years.
Free replacement products cannot be sent until an assessment of the supposed defective product is made. At the discretion of SEG Systems, if the received product is deemed not to be a manufacturing defect, the customer will be notified and the product may be repaired and/or replaced at the customer’s cost. Shipping charges will be the customer’s responsibility for any items needing expedited shipping.
Lifetime Warranty
SEG Systems offers a Lifetime Warranty on all SEG frame extrusions. This covers the aluminum extrusion that makes up our non-lit and backlit frames. Any additional components that might be affixed to the frame do not fall into the Lifetime Warranty category.
Issues that are not covered under the warranties include but are not limited to:
- Standard wear and tear usage
- Mistreatment of product
- Unauthorized alteration
- Natural disasters
- Failure to follow product instruction sheets and labeling
- Incorrect use
- Theft
- Loss
- Vandalism
- Destruction
- Damages occurred while in transit
Terms and Conditions
Upon the acceptance of delivery, you agree that the package(s) have arrived without any visible shipping damage. If shipping damage is noted, sign for the delivery as damaged and contact SEG Systems immediately. Failure to sign for the package(s) as damaged, refusal of the package, or neglecting to note after 3 business days any damage that may have occurred during the shipping process will be treated as a warranty claim and are subject to the terms and conditions of our warranty. The option to issue a return label/call tag is at the discretion of SEG Systems for any warranty or claim situation and any product outside of 72 hours will not have the option for a return label/call tag.
Any errors occurred during the shipping/freight process that shipped under the SEG Systems prepaid freight service will be guaranteed and covered should the shipper lose, damage or delay a product outside their guaranteed delivery time. SEG Systems will process the claim information and replace the affected product. For orders shipped using a customer’s shipper number or a third party shipper number, the customer will be responsible for replacing the affected product at cost and following through with the claim through the shipping/ freight company. SEG Systems will begin the claim process and provide the customer with the claim information. Any further claim correspondence will be between the customer and the shipping/freight company.
SEG Systems reserves the right to request documentation in the forms of photos, copies of packing slips and the like to ensure the issue is resolved promptly. “Standard questions” may also be asked in order to provide accurate and timely customer service. Failure to provide the necessary information requested by an SEG Systems Representative may delay the claim process. An RMA/Case number may be issued depending on the claim. This number must be used in regard to all correspondence with the issue and adhered to any packaging sent to SEG Systems for assessment. Failure to adhere RMA/Case information to a package will delay the claim/ warranty process. All order cancellations must be confirmed and approved by an SEG Systems Representative within 48 hours of submitting your purchase order. If SEG Systems has produced or ordered raw materials prior to your cancellation notice this may result in SEG Systems fully charging for materials and labor, or imposing a minimum cancellation fee of up to 50% of the purchase/sale price
SEG Systems guarantees the quality and functionality of its products when used in the correct manner as illustrated on each product’s instruction sheet.
Failure to comply with Warranty Terms and Conditions may result in additional charges and fees, determined at the discretion of SEG Systems. In cases of warranty disputes, SEG Systems reserves the right of the final judgment and/or decision on the nature and cause of damage and the fair and applicable warranty response and/or solution.

G7 Certification
The graphics we provide are G7 certified and printed on state-of-the-art equipment.
G7 certification helps ensure the production of the highest quality, consistent and accurate color graphics. G7 specifies the components of an image that define a similar “visual appearance” to the human eye.
G7 Specifications
• Defines a color metric definition for gray balance
• Specifies gray balance in the midtones and image contrast from the highlights to the shadows
• Defines the ideal colorimetric black and CMYK graytone curves for an image
• Specifies a step-by-step method for calibrating proofing systems and printers to these tone curves

Artwork Guidelines
All Adobe Creative Suite programs (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) are supported.
Recommended files include: .AI, .INDD, .PSD, Tiff, PDF, and some high resolution JPEG files.
NATIVE PACKAGED FILES ARE PREFERRED.
Sizing
Provide artwork at 100% scale. Should the artwork size be too large please provide artwork at 50% or 25% scale. If you have custom shaped graphics, please provide a die line on a seperate layer.
Bleed
2“ bleed per side is standard for all silicone edge, nonlit and backlit fabric graphics. When saving artwork with bleed, crop marks, registration marks, and color bars are not needed.
Color Specifications
All graphics are printed using 4-color process (CMYK). Artwork submitted using RGB will be converted to 4-color process prior to production. Undesired changes in color can occur in final print as a result. Provide color proof or Pantone call outs if color accuracy is necessary. Cost for PMS matching applies per color and requires one additional day of production. Unless stated otherwise, all Pantone colors will be converted to the 4-color conversion.
Image Area
To avoid unwanted cropping, place graphics and text 2” away from the edges of the artwork.
Fonts
Package and include all font files used in your artwork or outline ALL typography.

Resolution
For best fabric print results, follow the below minimum resolution recommendations. When embedding raster images in your file be sure view the image at 100% to check for pixelation. If file is built at 50% then zoom into 200%, 10% zoom into 1000%. If working in Illustrator, Set the Document Raster Effects (Effect Menu) to 300ppi before beginning the project. “Rezzing Up” an image to a higher DPI, will only soften the image and not add detail. Always preview raster artwork at actual print size to check for any hidden flaws.
If you find yourself in a scenario where you are unsure if a files resolution is large enough send us the file and allow us to determine if the image is acceptable for our printing process.

Artwork Upload
Go to our website and click on the “Upload to WeTransfer” button to send art files.

Graphic orders can ship as fast as you need without rush charges!
All orders are entered to ship with a standard turnaround time of 3-4 business days, unless otherwise specified (refer to turnaround times chart).
If the order must ship earlier the following rules apply:
1. A rush graphics order must ship via OVERNIGHT, LOCAL PICK-UP or MESSENGER SERVICE (no exceptions).
2. The “no-rush charge” policy applies to SEG Systems off-the-shelf portable modular products and does not apply to any hanging structures, custom project/exhibit that requires Project Management or exhibit design time.
3. All standard proof approvals (e-proof & hard copy proof) must be received by NOON eastern time.*
4. All rush orders require an e-proof approval WITHIN an hour of the proof being sent.*
*Failure to approve orders within the time frames stated above will result in late approval fees of $50 for standard orders & $100 for rush orders.

Orders must be received with artwork by noon eastern time to be counted as a preproduction day.
• Production times are based on graphic proof approval.
• For graphic orders placed through a sales representative, electronic proofs are sent via email.
• Artwork quality affects the time it takes to prepare files for print.
• Hard copy proofs are available upon request with an additional charge and require one extra business day for turnaround time.
• For any rush project, proof approval time will be specified by the Director of Print & Design and will be listed in your e-proof approval email. Most rush projects will require proofs to be approved within the hour to accommodate original requested ship date.
• All proofs must be approved by noon eastern time in order to be considered a production day for products requiring two or more pre-production days.
