After collecting the Grapnel Boost upgrade, new Augmented Reality modes become available. These training modes aren’t linear; all four are accessible at the same time. The Advanced AR modules are in the following locations:

Emerge from the dive a little early to get above a fence while entering the tunnel ahead. Immediately do a quick second dive (briefly tap the appropriate button) to collect speed and pass underneath an overhang.

Fail to line up properly and you won’t complete the final turn in time.

ADVANCED MODULE #1 This test is north of the Steel Mill, on top of an orange neon sign. Grapple to the top and take a position that lines up with the first symbol. Jump off the sign and glide to the initial target.

Next, swing to the right and start a left-hand turn to pass through the next symbol and fly toward the end of the course. Swing wide on the third symbol to line up for the finish.

ADVANCED MODULE #3

Jump off this neon sign to trigger the first advanced AR Module.

Dive down through the second and third symbols, but stay in the dive longer than normal. When breaking out of the dive, do not pull up immediately. Instead, let the momentum carry Batman close to the tunnel before trying to capitalize on it for extra height. This lets Batman slip underneath the mouth at the tunnel entrance. Fly as horizontal as possible through the tunnel to avoid touching the ground or the roof. This creates the speed needed to reach the end of the area and hit the last symbol.

ADVANCED MODULE #2

ADVANCED MODULE #4 To complete the fourth module, get atop the gargoyles in Park Row. Look for the first symbol and get a good jump to glide over to it; dive just after hitting the symbol. While diving, turn to the right but do not continue pressing forward. The dive command is enough to make Batman plummet, but pressing down throws everything off course. Near the bottom of the dive at the third symbol, emerge from the maneuver and glide through the opening in the bridge. Stay as close to the center as possible to avoid hitting the sides and failing the run. After completing all the modules, a Batwing Trophy is unlocked.

THE HERO GOTHAM NEEDS

Go to the Bowery to access the next test, which starts on a gargoyle. This one is an exercise in alternating between gliding and diving. Jump off the gargoyle, fly to the nearby symbol, and dive down toward the second symbol.

Search south of the GCPD building on the roof of a crane to start this module. Jump off the crane and glide to the first symbol. Dive and turn in place to get aligned toward Jump from here to start this module. the second symbol, then break out close to the bottom. Pass through the symbol and glide to the third symbol before hitting the water.
