An idyllic Christmas at The Manor House
From the moment the gates to The Manor House open and you head up our winding driveway, you’ll feel the magic of Christmas in the Cotswolds.
At home in the charming village of Castle Combe, our striking 14th century manor house is surrounded by beautiful gardens and grounds, made for a quintessentially English Christmas.
You’ll be greeted with decked halls, seasonal cheer, and a warm welcome on arrival, followed by cream tea (with a festive twist) in one of our lounges.
Leave some space for more. There’ll be drinks receptions with moreish canapés throughout your stay, and dinner will be served in the Michelinstarred Bybrook. Our talented chefs will be whipping up innovative dishes made from only the best local produce, all offered with fine wines.
When you’re not being wined and dined, The Manor House is yours to enjoy. You could take a walk around our grounds, Italian gardens, and the village of Castle Combe. Perhaps you want to take aim with Boxing Day laser clay pigeon shooting, or practise your swing on our golf course.
Open log fires with a glass of something warming, a historic house oozing with charm, and your loved ones sitting down to an exquisite feast. We can’t think of a better way to spend Christmas.
We pull out all the stops so no-one is left peeling the spuds or finding a way to fit the family round the table, letting everyone enjoy a well-deserved rest at this very special time of year.
T’was the night before Christmas
Christmas starts the moment you arrive at The Manor House. After a delectable festive cream tea when you check in, head to your room or suite to get settled in your home away from home. In the evening, join us for a glass of fizz and canapés, before taking your seat for a delicious dinner in Bybrook restaurant.
If you choose to head to midnight mass, we’ll be sure to welcome you back with hot chocolate and mince pies before you tiptoe off to bed.
