Royal Berkshire comes alive at Christmas. From our rooms with space for all the family to the crackling fireplace in The Polo Bar, treats from Santa and a traditional lunch with all the trimmings (and then some), Royal Berkshire epitomises cosy Christmas in the country.
However you choose to spend the festive season, every part of your stay at Royal Berkshire will be sprinkled with magic.
We pull out all the stops so no-one is left peeling the spuds or finding a way to fit the family round the table, letting everyone enjoy a well-deserved rest at this very special time of year.
T’was the night before Christmas
Today’s the day you arrive at Royal Berkshire and the day the festivities really begin. Check in from 3pm and settle into your new home for Christmas. You’ll find stockings waiting, and if you’re staying in one of our suites, you’ll even have your very own Christmas tree.
Join us for dinner in Fork followed by live entertainment. If you’d like to go to midnight mass, let us know and we’ll organise a taxi for you.
Christmas Eve
Tuesday 24th December
From 3pm
We welcome you to arrive from 3pm to get settled into your room and relax in your new home for Christmas.
From 6pm
Join us for a glass of fizz in The Polo Bar before a delicious three-course dinner with half a bottle of wine per person is served in Fork restaurant.
8pm
Once bellies are full, take a seat in the bar and listen to the crooning sounds of a live performance from So Sinatra.
Make sure to pop by reception before you put the little ones to bed so they can pick up their carrots and mince pies for Santa.
“It’s Christmaaaaaaaaaas!”
It’s the big day itself and time to truly indulge, relax, and make memories with your loved ones. At Royal Berkshire, we’ll be pulling out all the stops to create a magical Christmas so all you need to do is sit back and enjoy.
Our chefs will be whipping up breakfast and a Christmas feast with all the trimmings. In the afternoon send the kids off to our gingerbread house decorating while you curl up with a good book, or sit in front of the fire watching the King’s Speech.
Christmas Day
Wednesday 25th December
8am
After delving into your stockings, join us for a hearty breakfast in Fork before the days events begin.
From 12pm
Meet us for Ridgeview English sparkling wine before taking a seat in Fork for a Christmas lunch with all the trimmings and served with half a bottle of house wine per person.
If you’d like some fresh air after lunch, why not wrap up warm and explore our extensive grounds? Or if you’re feeling competitive, we’ve got lots of games in our games room, plus the kids can take part in a treasure hunt or get creative with our gingerbread house building and decorating too.
3pm to 5pm
Sit down and relax to live piano music from Paul Grainger in The Polo Bar.
From 7pm
Feeling peckish? A light buffet and wine will be served in Fork. Get the popcorn at the ready as we’ll be showing festive flicks in Aqua room.

If you’re leaving us today we kindly ask you to vacate your room by 11am.
For those on a three-night package we have a range of activities. If you’re looking for something fun for the little ones, the magic of Windsor Illuminated is one for the bucket list, or maybe you fancy something a little quieter? Head over to Pennyhill Park to spend some adult only time relaxing in the spa.
Boxing Day
Thursday 26th December

Start your morning off with a hearty breakfast in Fork. For those on a three-night package, spend a slow morning wondering round the grounds or grabbing a board game to take part in some friendly competition.
12pm
Delve into a tasty buffet lunch served in Fork before venturing out for some afternoon activities.
2pm - 6pm
We have a special treat for our adult guests to relax and unwind. Take a short drive to our sister hotel, Pennyhill Park and enjoy some downtime in the spa.*
For families, take a short drive to Windsor Great Park and experience the magic of Windsor Illuminatedtrust us when we say it is not to be missed.
From 7pm
Tuck into a delicious buffet served in Fork, with a glass of house wine and some toe-tapping tunes from rat pack singer, Dean Gee.
*The Spa at Pennyhill Park is available for our adult guests only. Treatments are not included but can be booked subject to availability. Transport is not included and any food and beverage is to be settled on depature.

Today’s the day we say goodbye. Enjoy one last breakfast before heading home with a lifetime of memories.
