Ms. Kaloki is the Managing Partner at Kaloki Ilia & Associates Advocates. Ms. Kaloki has significant experience in Real Estate, Banking, Finance, Legal Audit and Compliance, Private & Public Partnerships, Taxation, Litigation, Building& Construction and Project Finance.

Ms. Kaloki has advised clients on Conveyance, Construction and Project Finance, Taxation, Private and Public Partnerships and Corporate Governance in Kenya and East Africa

Ms. Kaloki has valuable experience working extensively in Litigation, Conveyance, Private and Public Partnerships, advisory, and review capacities on contracts, projects, corporate and investment transactions of varying complexities and across multiple sectors of the economy. Prior to establishing Kaloki Ilia & Associates, Ms. Kaloki worked as an Associate Partner at Wambua & Maseno Advocates, where she managed the Rift Valley and Western region and played a pivotal role in representing Clients, advising investors, handling commercial contracts, securities and ensuring successful acquisition of property.

Ms. Kaloki holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from The Catholic University of Eastern Africa and a Post graduate diploma from the Kenya School of Law.

Ms. Sheila M. Mbiti has a vast experience in Projects and Infrastructure.

Sheila specialises in infrastructure, energy, public-private partnerships, public procurement, and government contracting. Ms. Mbiti has successfully negotiated and handled various Engineering, Procurement and Construction Contracts(EPC) based on various models like FIDIC, World Bank and AfDB Conditions of Contract.

Ms. Mbiti has also negotiated several novation and wheeling agreements between various energy sector entities and also has been involved in Fibre (Dark and Lit) Lease transactions. She also has experience in wayleave acquisition for Energy infrastructure in various Transmission Line Projects.

Ms Mbiti is a graduate of the Catholic University of Eastern Africa and is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Environmental Law from the University of Nairobi. She is also a certified Public Private Partnership Professional from APMG, trained in Contract Management & Administration of FIDIC 2017 Conditions of Contract and Engineering & Construction Contract Management FIDIC, NEC, JBCC & GCC.

Kaloki Ilia & Associates Advocates

Mrs. Oyamo graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) Degree from Catholic Univevrsity of Eastern Africa (CUEA) in the year 2011. She obtained a Post-Graduate diploma in Law from the class of 2012 and was admitted as an advocate of the High Court of Kenya in the year 2014. She is a Certified Professional Mediator having underwent training at the Mediation Training Institute International (MTI(I) EA).

Mrs Oyamo underwent three years of legal training from the firm of J.M Rioba & Co. Advocates from the year 2011, worked at AfriHealth Consulting Limited as a Senior Legal Officer for two years before joining BACOfOMAWU(K) an affiliate union of COTU(K). Judy joined the firm of Kaloki Ilia & Associates in June 2018 as a Senior Associate running the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department

Mrs. Oyamo has vast experience in handling of Genderrelated matters, Health Law, Family law disputes and Labour matters.

Brigit Birundu is our Executive assistant in charge of the administration of the Firm Brigit, is a qualified paralegal from the Kenya School of Law, and she is well versed with the daily runnings of the Law firm.

Jackson Muthoka is a competent and qualified clerk in charge of the firm’s registry. Muthoka has experience in file management, storage and indexing among other roles. He also doubles up as the office assistant.

Mumo Kimeu is our competent court process server who handles service of documents. Mumo, has vast experience in the field of process serving as he has previously worked with the firm of Sudi & Associates Law Consultants. Whereby, he also doubled up as the firm’s litigation and conveyancing clerk.
