Two nights at the Roman Oasis H AV I N G r u n T h e R o m a n Oasis in Manilva for 36 years, owner Paul Hickling decided that at 74 he really could do with a rest and decided not to open this summer.
His many friends and customers were disappointed, but there is some good news as he is opening on just two more nights to help raise funds for two very worthy charities.
First on Friday August 30 the venue will be open for a Hog Roast in order to raise funds for the Cudeca

supplied by popular local singer Michelle Daniels in her new role as the Ultimate Cher with support by Mark and Kelly. Then on Monday September 9, the beneficiary will be the recently formed Manilva Cat Charity with tickets again costing €50 per person, but this time the meal will include a large choice of starters, a selection of hearty main courses plus cheese and dessert with all wine, beer and soft drinks included until 11pm. Entertainment will be provided by DJ Wildcat of the Roof and exceptional violinist Quike Navarro. One hundred per cent of all the monies raised including that from the great wheel of fortune opportunity will be given to the charities so to reserve your place email romanoasis@ outlook.com confirming which event you wish to attend.
