THE prestigious Aloha Golf Club will host the 16th annual ‘Butterfly Children’ Golf and Gala event on June 2 and 3. As every year, DEBRA - the Butterfly Children Charity - celebrates the start of the summer with an event that offers the opportunity for their social and health care team to continue growing and improving the lives of people who suffer with the very rare Butterfly Skin condition. On June 3, the ‘Butterfly Children’ Gala will begin at 8pm on the Aloha Golf Club terrace where guests will enjoy a sumptuous meal accompanied by live music from Mr Maph and Simone Lisa, accompanied by their band. Throughout the night there will plenty of opportunities to win incredible prizes donated by many of the prestigious companies that line the Costa del Sol. Those who wish to attend the dinner can do so at a special price of €60 for bookings made on www.but terfly childrenball.org before May 19, after which the price increases to €65. Passionate golf players also have the opportunity to play a part in this wonderful event, playing the Stableford modality at the unique Aloha golf course, on June 2. It is guaranteed to be exciting given that there will be prizes to be won at every hole. to people with Butterfly Skin. Since the event was first inaugurated in 2003, it has raised almost €650,000.
