Del Valle enters prison LAWYER Fernando del Valle, sentenced in the ‘Ballena Blanca’ corruption case, has surrendered to prison authorities. Del Valle, considered to have masterminded the corruption scandal, was sentenced to five years and six months in prison for tax fraud and money laundering. He had asked for his entrance to prison to be delayed, but the request was denied by the Provincial Court.
