New dishes delight at MC Café of Marbella Club Hotel MC Café, the brasserie style restaurant of the Marbella Club Hotel, offers breakfast, lunch and dinner within informal, yet elegant, surroundings. Open seven days a week, MC Café is always welcoming and whether you are enjoying a celebratory lunch with family or just a quick coffee and cake with a friend, you will always receive friendly service and quality food. This week, Head Chef Juan Martin Martinez has changed the lunch and dinner menu to include some wonderful new dishes: Alaskan Salmon Ceviche
with sorrel leaves features generous slices of tender salmon with a delicate marinade served over a tasty salad. If you prefer a more oriental touch to your fish, then the Tuna Tartare is for you, served on a slate plate and featuring succulent tuna with a rich sweet soya dipping sauce, freshly-cut guacamole and a selection of roe for added flavour. Main courses range from a wide selection of fish (salmon, sea bass, cod, tuna and shellfish) to meats and lamb, vegetarian and pasta. The Black Tagliatelle with calamari and soft creamed garlic is served in a
bamboo dish and is wonderfully light yet filling, whilst the slow-cooked Lamb Shank is always a winner. Desserts feature homemade chocolate mousse, Oreo cookie cake and elegant apple tart. If you have a sweet tooth but don’t want to overindulge, you can opt for a small slice of cake with your coffee such as the Carrot Cake or Courgette & Lime on offer for 3.50€. For lunch, MC Café has a twocourse/three-course daily menu for 27€/30€, offering wonderful alternatives to the A La Carte menu, and on Sundays you can enjoy English Roast Beef with
Yorkshire pudding and gravy. In addition, MC Café has a selection of high quality international wines served by the glass, including the New Zealand Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc (12€ per glass) and the French Chateau de Berne (9€ per glass), so even if the rest of your party are not drinking, you can enjoy a quality glass of wine or two.
