Days 3 + 4: Change of scenery. We decide we want to go higher up the mountains on our snowshoes. Arriving in Flims (Graubünden), we ride the ski lift up to the Vorab Glacier before snowshoeing up into the world of the 3000 metre peaks. Down in the valley the first cows are grazing on the meadows, while up here there is still plenty of snow – often hard-packed and windblown, but not especially dangerous.
