Eumundi Chamber celebrates 30 years of growth and success
The Eumundi Chamber of Commerce recently celebrated a significant milestone at its Annual General Meeting on 27 May, marking 30 years of incorporation. Over the past 3 decades, the chamber has shown unwavering commitment to the growth and development of Eumundi and its surrounding centres of commerce.
The event held at Alfresco’s Garden Café, featured the annual report delivered by Eumundi Chamber President Cindy Suters, who highlighted the chamber's achievements. "The past year has been marked by significant growth, connection and opportunity, as the chamber has championed local businesses, welcomed visitors, and provided immense value to its members," said Cindy.

“The chamber has focused its efforts on supporting meaningful projects, fostering strong partnerships, and connecting with industry leaders and government partners. These initiatives have contributed to the region's continued growth and success, shaping a bright future for the community.”
Membership has not only grown by 24% this year to 85 members but also diversified with notable increases in health and wellbeing, clean
technologies, and food and agribusiness. The chamber has expanded its reach to connect with over 200 representatives of local businesses, community organisations, government and industry groups. The chamber’s event calendar was also busier than ever with 10 events held throughout the year.
To recognise the contributions of its members, the chamber has introduced a Member of the Year Award – to honour a member who has gone above and beyond for the association. This year's recipient was Laguna Pest Control, with the award presented to the excited owners Jay and Nicky Turner on the evening.
Cindy also acknowledged the chamber's ongoing partnership with Experience Eumundi, which has contributed to a strengthened visitor economy, opening new opportunities for its members in tourism and retail. Collaborative campaigns such as the Buy Local Campaign and the Eumundi Map have also assisted with raising the region's profile and driving support for local businesses.
Cindy expressed her gratitude to the community organisations that have supported the chamber, including the Eumundi & District Community Assn (EDCA), Eumundi Historical Assn (EHA), the Rotary Club of Eumundi and Eumundi Voice. She also thanked the selfless volunteers, participants, sponsors and contributors to the programs and projects delivered this year.
