ESWI Symposium at OPTIONS XI

Commemorating 30 years of the European Scientific Working group on Influenza and other Respiratory Viruses, ESWI organised a symposium on “Flu, Covid-19 and RSV: How to vaccinate?” The event took place at the Options XI for the Control on Influenza conference, which took place in Belfast on 26-29 September.

The challenges of immunising against all three respiratory viruses especially for vulnerable groups are more apparent than ever. The symposium looked at preventive action through joined-up vaccination campaigns, innovation in vaccines, and treatment options, and underlined the emphasis on awareness and preparedness.
