n 2006, Adrian, CEO of EESIT decided to branch out and create his very own one stop shop for computer repairs. After working in all areas of the IT industry throughout his career, he gained a wide knowledge on the spectrum of computers and decided to use his wealth of knowledge to start a successful business. It started in Manford Way and five years ago they made the move to Manor Road, a prime location beside Grange Hill Station. They have recently changed their shop front to say ‘Chigwell Computers’ which better explains the trade to passers, this has been invaluable to their business and trade has increased significantly. Chigwell Computers offers service repairs in both hardware and software, examples of their services include fixing laptop screens and liquid spillage in keyboards as well as system upgrade instillations. Recent years have seen the increase of spyware and adware which Chigwell Computers can fix readily and for Adrian, file recovery is an important facet of their services as people are not quite as clued up with Cloud storage as they could be. Chigwell Computers have strong community values and often wave charges for senior citizens as a chance to give back. With up to 70% of their

he Loft Shop was established in 1987 and the Ilford Shop which has been on the same site for 15 years is now a well-known blue and yellow landmark on the corner of Gants Hill and Beehive Lane. The Ilford shop has been run by Phil Chakli for 15 years ably assisted by Demos Flouri and together they form a formidable team. As Phil says, “With more than 15 years experience in the retailing and installation of loft ladders and roof windows our customers can be confident that they are receiving the best possible service when they come to us. In our showroom they can try out the products on display and along with the information and advice we give them can be sure that they choose the product which best suits their needs”. Loft Shop runs a Fitting Service with insured fitters who are fast, tidy and fully trained in all fitted
products and some are Velux trained with over 20 years of installation experience. Prices start from the supply and fit cost of just £99.00 (exclusive of VAT) for a loft ladder with Roof Windows replaced and installed from only £364.17exc VAT and the Loft Shop installation service operates anywhere within the M25, Hertfordshire, Essex and most of the South East. The Ilford Loft Shop’s business has been steadily increasing over the last 2 years both in the supply and the installation of products.
