CFSA Junior Race Team (8-18 years old)
11am-2pm on Sundays and 4:30pm-6:30pm on Wednesdays Our Race team is for sailors with a bit of sailing experience who want to work more on their skills. We welcome everyone who is still getting used to the boats, to people who are finessing their skills and competing in provincial competitions. For ages 8-12, the sailors will use the Opti boats and sail by themselves. From 12 to 18 they have a choice to sail in the doublehanded 420 or the single handed Laser boat. Both of these are great options and very competitive classes to race against. Our coaches are looking forwards to a great season of training and the potential for some small local competitions while COVID-19 continues to affect our competition season. The cost for the program is $350 for the season. Our first practice is on September 6th at 11am and our season finishes on November 15, 2020. If you have any questions, please email Charlotte Clark, our Program Coordinator at: sailinginstructor@cfsaesq.ca We love having new people on our team and growing their skills from the very basics up to a racing level!
