S1105 a. UNLOCK the Lever (25) and SLIDE the Mobile Guide Support (27) until the end of stroke, in the direction indicated by figure 09; b. REMOVE the Back Cover (08) by loosening the respective screws;

WARNING! RISK OF INJURY: When the Back Cover (08) is opened, the band saw blade may jump out.

c. TURN Handwheel (02) counterclockwise to facilitate removal of the Band Saw Blade (06); d. REMOVE the Band Saw Blade (06) first from the Flywheels and after from the Bearings of the band saw blade´s guides; e. REMOVE any cutting residue (chip) that may be present with a brush; f INSTALL a new Band Saw Blade (06); g. Using a visual inspection, CERTIFY that the band saw blade assembly is with the teeth oriented in the direction indicated by the arrow on the machine (figure 01); h. ASSEMBLY the Back Cover (08) by tightening the respective screws; j. TURN the Handwheel (02) clockwise until the end of the stroke; k. PERFORM the rotation of the Band Saw Blade (06).

WARNING! RISK OF INJURY: PERFORM procedure to run the band saw blade to get the best performance.

l. CARRY out three cuts, putting only a light pressure on the workpiece.

OBSERVATION: Light pressure: as an example consider an opera!on to cut a full steel bar (e.g. C40, D. 50 mm). This should be carried out in about 4 minutes at minimum speed. Once the blade has been run in, the same kind of workpiece can easily be carried out in approximately 2 minutes.
