The gallery espacioMAD was set up by Jaime J. Mendoza in 2007 as an experimental space for contemporary art. It became one of the most singular commercial galleries on Venezuela. Situated on Centro de Arte Los Galpones, one of Venezuela’s most influential Center for The Arts. The central concern of espacioMAD when creating the programme of exhibitions, was to make a space that can be transform to the needs of each exhibit by artists who use radical and confrontational mediums to raise questions about our inner-self and society.
