The program implies 40 hours of work per week and includes various trips, from visits to academic partners to field work, observation and benchmarking in international markets considered essential. In ME310 Porto, student teams work on innovation challenges proposed by the companies during a nine-month period. Through these projects, students undergo an intensive and interactive process of needfinding, brainstorming and rapid prototyping to create and develop new concepts of products and services. The cooperation of companies such as IKEA Industry, SONAE, FORD and SILAMPOS provides a real context for all innovation work.
