By favoring interdisciplinarity and a sound relationship with the community, this masters includes in its program an Artistic Residence, the photography, cinema and multimedia cycle – Imagens do Real Imaginado – and varied outside initiatives. The program welcomes national and international faculty members, creatives, technical professionals, filmmakers and photographers. It has cooperation protocols with several universities, and partnerships with major cultural and artistic organizations: International Film Festival (Curtas Vila do Conde), Olhares Frontais of Viana do Castelo, DocLisboa, Institute of Cinema and Audiovisuals, Portuguese Center of Photography, University of Santiago de Compostela, South Wales University, Derby University and CCRE/FAUP Research Centers, i2ADS/FBAUP, Wales eCPR, among others.
