plete confidence in her abilities to lead with integrity and passion for the organization. You can reach her and send her a “welcome” email at

uckeye PVA Family,

I am writing you this note as I say “see you soon” to the Chapter. I will be moving on to another opportunity that fits my growing family’s needs. I have never had a goodbye as hard as this one. In the two years I have spent with the organization, I have fallen in love with the mission and every member I have gotten to know. I have found family amongst the board and staff and lifelong connections in the community through Buckeye PVA’s donors, supporters, and volunteers. I will still be around at events, so please don’t be strangers! In the meantime, Jennifer McCarty will be taking over as the new Executive Director. I have com-

jenniferm@buckeyepva.org. She will be joining Maddi Snyder in her role as Assistant Executive Director and Maria Bynum, our new Administrative Assistant, as they continue to work on growing and expanding the Chapter, all while serving Ohio’s paralyzed veterans. Enjoy your summer, and please know how grateful I am to have crossed paths with you! Thank you for making this job more than a job for me – I look forward to seeing you soon. Best,

Ellen S. Schwartz
