Marco Ernesto se mantuvo pintando casi hasta su muerte, y sus pinturas nunca decayeron. Murió en 1985 a los 62 años, dejándonos un legado cultural importante como muestra de su amor a Boquete, sus paisajes y habitantes. Marco Ernesto continued painting almost until his death, and the quality of his work never faltered. He was 62 years old when he died in 1985. He left behind an important cultural legacy showing his love for Boquete, its landscapes and inhabitants.
