ARVI PARK A magical ecotourism destination Arvi Park is an ecotourism destination located in the Santa Elena area, created for the local, national and international community to enjoy It is an open park developed for public use, which by promoting organized tourism, it also demonstrates a conservation strategy and promotion of the potentials and strengths of the area, extolling its cultural and environmental wealth and archaeological heritage, silletera tradition, entrepreneurship of its people and more. All of this is done through a proposal for sustainable nature tourism. With abundant cloud forests, which are one of the most important natural resources for the territory, Arvi Park preserves the quality of the waters that flow into the valleys of Aburra and San Nicolas. It is also the habitat for flowers, mosses, fungi, frogs, birds, butterflies and many other species that are vital to forest conservation. A visit to Arvi Park is a true experience surrounded by nature, flora, fauna and landscape diversity offered by the territory. Additionally, there are many activities and events that take place. How do you get there? The Park is located in a rural area of the municipality of Medellin, approximately 18 kilometers from town. There are different forms of transport and routes to get to Arvi Park, which allow for easy and comfortable access. Metrocable: For access via the Metrocable, you must transfer from any subway station to Acevedo Station in the north of the city. There, you must transfer to the K Cable Line to Santo Domingo Station, then transfer to the Arvi L Cable Line. The ride lasts about 20 minutes.

Hiking is the park’s main activity, and there are guided tours leaving the Arvi Tourist Cable every 30 minutes. Horseback riding is another option in which you can enjoy the quiet and the scenic beauty of the territory. You can also relax and enjoy the tranquility of the picnic area.
Public transportation: From Medellin and surrounding municipalities: Take the Santa Elena Public Transport System, Trasancoop, in the city center, on Córdoba Street (carrera 52) where it meets with Colombia (50th Street), near the Pequeño Theater. Vehicles that go to Arvi Park run from 6:20 am and with a 1-hour continuity. From Rio Negro and surrounding municipalities: Take the Rionegro Public Transport System three blocks down Principal Park, towards Santa Elena. The Silletero makes transfers in the estadero, and take the bus heading to Arvi Park. Personal automobile: From Medellin and surrounding municipalities: Go to the Ayacucho Corridor
(48th Street), drive to the right up to the "y" on Buenos Aires and take the road to Santa Elena. After climbing 14 kilometers, veer to the left in El Silletero, and take the route heading to Arvi Park. From the East to Arvi Park: Find the routes leading to the Jose Maria Cordova Airport, then take the direction that leads you towards Sajonia Return, there take the road to Santa Elena. When you get to estadero The Silletero, take the turn right detour. From there, you take paths that will lead to different park centers. Arvi Park operates from Tuesday to Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. On long holiday weekends, the park and the Arvi Metro Cable operate from Wednesday to Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
