LOVE AT FIRST BITE Michael and Maria met 3 years ago at the Boston Park Plaza; a Boston icon which has been noted as part of the city’s heritage as the Boston Tea Party. This historic hotel offers charisma and has a lot of charm. It is also a well sought after wedding venue for many Bostonians. So, it seems befitting, that this beautiful couple would start their bond in this treasured destination. Michael was working as a new chef. Maria was already currently working in the same kitchen as a chef. As a newbie, he was instructed to take on some of her duties. He teasingly says, “She was always snooping around”. Maria rebuts “…well, he was not as friendly either”. Until one day, one of the servers said to Maria, “I have the perfect person for you to meet”. When she found out it was Michael, she was shocked —because she always thought he was somewhat, rude.

As they grew to know each other, Michael discovered that with Maria, he had hit a HOME RUN! Once Maria discovered that they had some of the same passions, dreams and goals…but mostly a love interest for FOOD, it became evident that he was the one. The pair would eat, sleep, and wake up talking about FOOD! Even on off days, food was their favorite subject. The library was also a favorite spot to connect as well.
