HydraSleeves

How To Know Which HydraSleeve Is Right For You?

1. Choose a 2" or 4" Hydrasleeve based on well size

2. Choose an armoured (tougher) or standard HydraSleeve

3. Choose the volume of sample you would like

The HydraSleeve No-Purge Groundwater Sampler is a new way to collect discrete interval water samples. With no need to purge or dispose of purge water, this groundwater sampler reduces your costs by saving time.

Features

• Long or short term groundwater monitoring

• Samples low-yield wells

• Determines dissolved contaminant fraction

• Samples crooked or constricted wells

• Vertically defines contaminant concentrations or composites sampler from 10 ft screen interval

Fun Facts

• HydraSleeves require weights (top & bottom) to deploy properly.

• Plan ahead - HydraSleeves require equilibration time.

• Sampson™ groundwater filters can be used with HydaSleeves.

Sampson™ & Waterra Groundwater Inline Filters

These filters are designed to remove the suspended particulate from groundwater samples so the dissolved metal content can be determined. Simply plug a filter into your pump tubing or bailer. Run the water through the inline disposable filter and capture the flow in a sample vial.

Features

• Filter media is polyethersulfone, body is polyethylene and media support is polypropylene

• Excellent particle retention above the target micron size range

• Maximum utility gained from the media, even with the most turbid samples

• Built in compound 3/8" threaded nipple and 1/2" barbed inlet

• PFAS, PFOS & PFOA free

• ISO 9001:2015 compliant

How To Filter Groundwater For Metal Analysis Using A 0.45 µm Filter.

• Complete the pre-sampling protocol (eg. purging 3 well volumes or low flow sampling or specified protocol)

• Insert a Sampson™ or Waterra 0.45 µm filter into the well tubing

• Continue pumping

• Direct the flow from the discharge outlet of the filter into your sampling vessel

• Use a new filter for each sample

Excellent For Developing, Surging & Cleaning Out Groundwater Monitoring Wells Surge Blocks

Designed to work with the Waterra pump system, surge blocks are tough thermoplastic donuts that press fit onto either a standard flow system WA-D-25 footvalve to accommodate 2" wells or a high flow system WA-D-32 footvalve to accommodate 4" wells. The surge block is designed to free up silt and sediment in the sand pack and screen, and breaks down bridging, drawing these particles into the well and then removes this material from the well.

Features

• Effectively increases the outside diameter of the WA-D-25 footvalve to 1 7/8" in 2" wells & the WA-D-32 footvalve to 3 7/8" in 4" wells

• Reduces the annular gap between the valve and the inside of the well screen to approx. 1/16"

• Significant increase in the surging action of the footvalve - surge block combo
