INTERVIEw WITH OUR HEADMASTER
In which domain you work for? -I am a chemical teacher.
-How many years you work as a teacher? -Over 30 years.
-How do you feel working with teenagers? - It is lovely. I love watching teenagers
built their own personality and becoming adults. This age remains forever in their memories and it’s very important for them to have people who support them.
Every teacher affects their life, either as good role model or bad. Personally, I have a very good relationship with my students and I really care about them.
-What are the advantages and the disadvantages in your job? -As I told, I think it’s very good to communicate
with young people and affect them in a positive way. On the other way, a big disadvantage of our school system is that we don’t have membership sections for the kids with learning difficulties.
-As a headmaster, what is your relationship with the other teachers? -Excellent. We have a very good cooperation and we communicate very good with each other. There is a good spirit and everybody wants the best for our
school.
-What is your opinion about the greek educational system? What would you change? -In my opinion greek educational system has a lot of weaknesses but the most important of them is the way teenagers enter universities. The final exams are really
difficult, the school curriculum is very big and the whole situation is very stressful for such young guys.
