Tania Huppatz Tania runs Snaffle Travel, a successful travel company combining her love of horses and travel. She attends some of the major horse shows and equestrian-related locations around the world, and is keen to share her experiences with the Equestrian Hub community. In this issue she brings us the latest on the Longines Global Champions held recently in St Tropez. Amanda Mac As editor of Equestrian Hub Magazine, Amanda’s two longstanding passions, one for horses the other for writing, come together perfectly. In this issue she spoke to EA’s Meredith Chapman about those important helmet tagging rules, popped in to see what’s new with Delivering Dreams, and took a long (and envious) look at this issue’s glorious equestrian property. Holly Mills Holly Mills holds a BA in Animal Science and is an Equine Nutrition Advisor for MITAVITE®. Passionate about horse health, she helps owners to improve the diet and wellbeing of their horses. She is also researching advancements in horse health at the University of Adelaide, and in this issue discusses helping a poor horse gain condition.

Jessica Morton Jessica is a dual national New Zealand-Italian freelance journalist, equestrian traveller and writer. Currently based in Tuscany, she’s perfectly positioned to bring us the very latest in European equestrian trends and innovations, including a fascinating look at Szilvásvárad, the second largest Lipizzaner breeding facility in the world, and a hitech saddle capable of improving your balance and position.

Sophie Warren Sophie is a professional event rider, horse trainer and coach. She has had many successes at the highest level in eventing, has ridden at FEI level in dressage and placed in the top ten at Australia's major competitions. She is passionate about implementing evidence-based training techniques to improve welfare and safety, and kindly answers our 20 Questions.

Meredith Chapman EA’s National Health and Safety Manager since January 2020, Meredith has 20 years’ experience as a health and safety professional. She’s been a horse breeder and competitor for 30 years, and is a highly credentialed academic and presenter, currently completing a PhD research project on reducing horse-related human injuries and fatalities. In this issue she talks helmet safety and tagging. Alison Lincoln With a degree in Equine Sports Coaching, Alison has taught on both sports science and equine science courses in the UK. She’s fascinated by human and equine peak performance and how to get the best out of the rider and horse partnership. In this issue she dives deep into getting your horse fit for the rigours of eventing.

Mathilde Gregoire With over 40 countries visited, 20 on horseback, Mathilde brings her passion for horses and travel together. Through writing, she aims to inspire women and solo travellers to follow their dreams and embark on equestrian journeys around the world. In this issue she explores the history of the Marismeño, and visits El Rocio, a horse lover’s paradise.

Christine Armishaw Christine is a horse trainer, coach and passionate eventing and jumping rider. A Kiwi girl based in NSW, she teaches others not just how to ride, but also how to understand their horse. In Coaching with Christine she explains what to do when fear comes calling, before delving into the right time to move up a level.

Rebecca Ashton Rebecca is a Pilates instructor, dressage coach, FEI competitor and equestrian journalist. For the past 12 years she’s travelled the globe covering major shows as a writer and photographer. She loves immersing herself in different equestrian cultures and interviewing those at the top of their game - and on this occasion it’s none other than Heath Ryan. Dr Doug English A veterinarian and long-time turmeric researcher, Doug completed his Bachelor of Veterinary Science at the University of Queensland in 1974. He’s well-known throughout Australia for his work in the equine industry and is a long-time Equine Veterinarians Australia member. Jo Mckinnon Jo is a multi-award winning horse racing and equestrian broadcaster and documentary maker. She’s also a former top-level show rider who’s competed all over Australia with her hacks. As a racing commentator of many years standing, she loves positive life after racing stories, and recently discovered how Racing Queensland is making major inroads with their off the track program. Des Hughes Des is a 5* Technical Delegate (TD) and Chair of the Equestrian Australia Eventing Committee. Not a rider himself, he became interested when his daughter began competing in the late ‘80s. He started by helping out event organising committees, and by 2005 had been promoted to FEI International TD. We spoke to him about moving up the levels.

Suzy Jarratt Suzy has lengthy and varied form as a writer and presenter. She works for several Australian and overseas companies, has authored three published books, and has won an international award for equestrian journalism. In this issue, she catches up with Young Rider Amber Hamilton, and chats to a recent Saddle Hub client about her Ideal Ramsay show saddle. Jamie Hocking Jamie was a 2020 Delivering Dream Scholarship recipient. Based in Denmark, he’s the standing Australian National Champion in equestrian vaulting, holds a world ranking, and is determined to reach the top of his chosen sport. In this issue he discusses sportsmanship, what it means to him and why he believes it’s something that’s always worth striving for.

Felicity Davies Felicity is a Horsemanship and Mindset Mentor, podcast host, author, and horse lover from South Australia. She’s the founder of The Confident Equestrian Program, a global online course teaching owners how to help their horse feel more confident in any environment.
