FINISHING

APPLICATION FIELDS

VEROTEX AE are specially designed inks for printing on polyamide, wool, mohair, silk, nylon and leather. With its brilliant shades and high fastness levels, they are ideal for printing clothing and fashion accessories, swimwear, among many other applications. Fluorescent colours offer a widest color gamut.

PRIMER-P

Primer for fabrics to be printed with pigment inks

GENERAL FEATURES

• Chemical composition: dispersion of polymers

• pH: 4 – 4,5

• Ionic character: cationic

• Appearance: light brown dispersion

• Available in 50 kg drum

APPLICATION FIELDS

PRIMER P can be used with all kind of fabric, natural or synthetic. It ensures an excellent colour rendering, with good penetration and sharp outlines. A proper colour calibration considerably improves colour fastness to washing and rubbing, compared to untreated fiber. It also reduces ink consumption.

HOW TO USE

PRIMER P is a concentrated dispersion that has to be used by padding, with a pick-up of 60-80%.

Recipe: Concentrated dispersion 120-150 g / Water 880-850 g

Bath temperature 20-25°C

Drying at 110-115°C max for 2-3 minutes

AFTER PRINTING

To achieve best fastness, printed fabrics have to be treated as follows:

130°C for 3 minutes or

140°C for 2 minutes or

150°C for 1,5 minute

Although the prepared goods can be stored for relatively long periods, we suggest to print them within 2 weeks max.

PRIMER-PA

Special screen printing paste for the preparation of fabrics for ink-jet printing with pigment inks

GENERAL FEATURES

• Aspect: light paste

• Ionic character: cationic

• pH 3-4

• Available in 5-30 kg drum

APPLICATION FIELDS

PRIMER PA can be used with all kind of fabric, natural or synthetic. It ensures an excellent colour rendering, with good penetration and sharp outlines. A proper colour calibration considerably improves colour fastness to washing and rubbing, compared to untreated fiber. It also reduces ink consumption.

HOW TO USE

PRIMER PA is ready to be used, by screen printing, directly on the fabric (55 or 43 strands, 1 or 2 squeegee passages). Once Primer has been printed, the fabric must be dried at a temperature between 90 and 100°C for 2-3 minutes, anyhow depending on the fabric. After that, you can proceed to digital printing with pigment inks and heat apply for 3 minutes at 150°C.
