Epping Chorus
With the easing of the lockdown restrictions, the members of Epping Chorus, the choir which regularly performs concerts at St John’s Church Epping, have been keen to return to their Friday night rehearsals. Under the leadership of Simon Winters, their musical director, they have already planned two concerts over the next few months. On Friday 17th December they will be performing a Christmas concert which will include John W Peterson’s ‘Carol of Christmas’. It’s bound to be fun and enjoyed by audiences of all ages. This concert will commence at 7.30pm.
In January 2022, they will have their major winter concert. This will be at 7.30pm on Saturday 22nd January when they will perform Haydn’s ‘Creation’ as the main work, a fitting piece to mark the culmination of the last two years of difficulty. The choir will be joined by soloists for the solo parts with organ accompaniment. As always both concerts will be free to attend, with donations requested.
