The Boys Holocaust Survivors in the Epping Forest District and other District Council events

This free exhibition tells the story of Holocaust survivors sent to Holmehurst Hostel in Loughton and the staff that supported them. Showcasing video testimonies from the survivors and objects from the Jewish Museum and Imperial War Museum, London, the exhibition will explore the story of the concentration camps and the Loughton boy’s liberation and survival.

Youth Council launch MiLife C19

The latest Epping Forest Youth Council Project, MiLife C19, is an online resource for secondary schools. The MiLife section on www.milife.org.uk includes useful signposting, films about fitness, relaxation and craft making and even lesson plans for teachers.

This resource is designed by young people for young people and has been informed by the Youth Council’s own COVID-19 Health & Wellbeing Survey.

Key items: 250th exhibition and accompanying talks programme at Epping Forest District Museum Free resources including: local walking routes, mental health support for young people and ‘stay safe’ packs.
