A ‘Walk and Ride’ for adults and children

Saturday 20th June

The Parc Le Breos Gower Trekking Centre offers a full morning introduction to horse riding and trekking for children over 10 years old (accompanied by parents) and adults. The morning starts with a walk to the Centre where instructors will show you how to groom and saddle your horse, followed by riding instructions before riding out to see the views. Maximum number 16.

King Arthur, gunpowder; the Lady Falls

Sunday 21st June

A two-part walk in the headwaters of the river Neath area of Pontneddfechan. Starting from Craig-y-Dinas, to the remains of the gunpowder works and eventually to the disused Dinas silica mine. A level walk to the waterfall Sgwd Gwladys. Care must be taken on all parts of the walk as it can be muddy on occasions with some steep and rough sections.
