The Success Story of Enzo Zelocchi
Zelocchi utilized his social media presence in March 2020, when his trailer for “The First Secret” received 24 million views on YouTube. With a unique combination of filmmaking skills and social media fame, Enzo Zelocchi is a talent to keep an eye on in 2021 and beyond.
Swagger recently interviewed Enzo to discuss his upcoming projects and his journey as an actor.
CAN YOU TELL ME ABOUT YOUR JOURNEY?
Enzo: I would like to say that my background in accounting and marketing is unrelated to my acting career. The entertainment industry is a business, and understanding the workings of the business is crucial. My skills in building businesses from the ground up have helped me greatly in producing and acting.
WHAT WAS YOUR INITIAL ACTING ROLE?
Enzo: My first acting job was with the renowned Italian director Carlo Vanzina, who cast me as a villain in an Italian TV series on channel 5. I was lucky enough not to have to audition, as my agent in Italy recommended me to the assistant director. The following day, I had a meeting with the assistant director and he liked me.

Enzo: The inspiration for “The First Secret” came from the superhero genre's lack of representation of the Hispanic and Latin communities.
The only recognized hero is Zorro, who is essentially Batman without technology. I wanted to create a superhero for the Latin community.
INFORMATION ABOUT THE MOVIE “THE SOURCE”
Enzo describes The Source as having a Mad Max meets The Crow vibe. He plays an alien with a humanoid body, who has been tasked with training and protecting the next generation of warriors against space aliens that are destroying planets. His character and the oracles are hiding on Earth and searching for the kids they need to train.
The story takes place in a post-apocalyptic scenario with destroyed cities and travel between parallel dimensions. The Source has the distinction of having the most viewed movie trailer in history.
