I am an industrial design student on the first year of my masters. I was born in Munich. Grew up in Salzburg and moved to the south of Jutland when I was 11. Here I went to Tønder gymnasium. After my time in Tønder, I moved to Copenhagen to presue an career in marketing, but I quick realized that my dream was to become an product designer, and not to promote it. I moved to Munich, where I was a design assistant for 2 years before I gained some knowledge in composure and presentation from a product photographer. I knew that I wanted to start in the Design school in Copenhagen the following year, but I had some time to spend and decided to brush up on my woodworking skills. Following year I started on Industrial Design on KADK.

UNIVERSE AS A PART OF THE RESEARCH I LOOKED IN TO THE WORLD OF SNEAKERS AND FOUND THAT THE TECHNICAL STYLE WAS THE RIGHT ONE FOR THE PRODUCT.
THE IDEA OF THIS SNEAKER BUILDS ON THE FASCINATION OF THE SNEAKER UNIVERS. THE PREMISE IS TO BE INSPIRED FROM SOMETHING IN NATURE, WHERE THE FASCINATION OF BIOMIMICRY AND LEARNING FROM NATURE WAS A HUGE FACTOR. RESEARCHING DIFFERENT SPECIES AND ABILITIES LEAD TO THE AMPHIBIOUS WORLD.

THE MOST FASCINATING THING I FOUND IN MY RESEARCH WAS THE ABILITY OF REGENARATION OF LIZARDS. WHICH GAVE THEM THE OPPORTUNITY TO REPLACE DAMAGED OR LOST BODYPARTS. IN TERMS OF A SNEAKER, I TRANSLATED THAT TO A MODULAR SYSTEM, THAT MAKES IT POSSIBLE TO EXCHANGE DAMAGED PARTS AND CUSTOMIZE THE SNEAKER.

RESEARCH BUILDING ON THE CONCEPT OF DAY AND NIGHT, I RESEARCHED AND BRAINSTORMED ON WHAT MAKES THE DISTINCTION SPECIAL. I CAME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT DAY AND NIGHT IN OUR SOCIATY ALMOST DOESNT EXIST ANYMORE, BECAUSE EVERYHING IS ACCESSIBLE ALL THE TIME. ERGONOMY COMBINING THE DIFFERENT INSPIRIONS A CAME TO THE CONCLUSION, TO MAKE AND WEARABLE. AS A WEARABLE THE ERGONOMY PLAYS A BIG PART OF THE EXPERIENCE. THIS IS WHY I EXPERIMENTED ON THE WITH AND FORM OF THE WRISTBAND.

HAVING DETERMINTED THAT THE PRODCT SHOULD BE A WRISTBAND, I WORKED ON THE SHAPE OF IT. FIRST OF ALL THE GENERAL SHAPE SHOULD BE DETERMINED, BUT THE PLACEMENT OF THE UV-PRINT ALSO PLAYED A BIG PART.
TO FIND THE INSPIRATION OF THE FINAL FORM I ANALYSIS FURTHER ON THE SUBJECT AND FOUND THE CONNECTION BETWEEN THE SINUS-CURVE OF THE LIGHTWAVES AND THE GOLDEN RATIO.
FINDING THE FORM FORM WAS DETERMINATED ON COMFORD AND STYLE. FURTHERMORE THE CLOSINGSYSTEM OF THE WRISTBAND WAS A IMPORTANT FUNCTION THAT WAS CRUCIAL TO MAP OUT.

WHERE THE INITIAL FOCUSED ON THE THE RELEVANS OF EATING INSECTS, THIS PART IS ABOUT ANALYSING THE MEALWORM AND HOW PEOPLE REACT ON TO EATING AND GROWING THEM.
A MEALWORM LIFES IN A CYCLE OF 4 STAGES WHERE THE STAGE OF THE WORM IS THE ONE THAT IS TO BE CONSUMED. IT IS EASY TO RAISE AND HAS NOT A LOT OF DEMANDS.
