By Meghan My day at the arts in the dark parade was very special and very cool I loved it all though it was cold I still enjoyed myself I was a butterfly I walked I was turning flapping my wings we were on the news on channel 7 there was a caterpillar to some people were the caterpillar and some people were butterfly’s we started at 6:00and ended at 8:00 We were on state street.

WESTTOWN TREE DECORATION

By Lucy Renee It’s real good! I wish I could go again. I seen the fishes. I ain’t seen nothing but fishes. I seen a lot of people. Lots of people walking. It was too far and I had a problem with my knees. Mari’s going on another one but I’m not going. They going to Lights but I can’t go; my knee hurt. We had a good time. I put the ornaments up on the tree. The decorations. I wish we didn’t go so far. The people was nice, and I had a great time.

I went to Brookfield Zoo to put the stuff on the tree. The ornaments and the hat at the top of the tree. I put my hand over the tree.

My favorite ornament is the red bead wreath.

HOGAN’S HEROES: WHERE ARE THEY NOW?

BOB CRANE

Bob Crane played Colonel Robert Hogan. I like him. He’s a nice guy. I like his outfits. He was a great legend. Bob Crane was beaten to death on June 29, 1978 when he was 49 by a mystery person. I like his clothes. I think a guy murdered him because he wanted to take Crane’ spot on the series.

WERNER KLEMPERER

Werner Klemperer played Colonel Wilhelm Klink. I like his monocle. I like his car. He had cancer and was sick. He smoked. He passed away on December 6, 2000. He was 80.

LEON ASKIN

CHARLES' ENTERT

Leon Askin played General Burkhalter. I like his jacket.

He’s nice. He’s handsome. I like his car. I like his family. I like his hat. He always gets mad. His sister is Frau Gertrude Linkmeyer. He died June 3, 2005. He ate too much and was fat.

JOHN BANNER

John Banner plays Sergeant Schultz. His line is “I know nothing.”

He’s funny. He impersonates Klink in “The Great Impersonation.” He’s my favorite. He died on January 28, 1973.

He was 63. He had stomach problems. He ate too much. I like his hat. I like his medals.

He was a baker. He was handsome. He was a great guy.

Always funny.

SIGRID VALDIS

She died when she was 72 from lung cancer. I like her dresses. She sings. I like her red dress in the series. She was nice. She was the secretary for Klink. She was a nice woman. I like it when she went on a date with Bob. She married Bob Crane in Chicago. She’s cute. I think she’s kind of funny. I think she’s talented. She played Hilda. I like her makeup.

HOWARD CAINE Howard Caine played Major Wolfgang Hochstetter. He was funny. I like his clothes. He’s mad. I like his medals. He had a heart attack. He didn’t survive. He was 67. He died on December 28, 1993. He played the banjo. I like his mustache. I like his medals. I like his hat. I like his jacket. I like his boots. He was a good leader. He was a great guy.

AINMENT REVIEW LARRY HOVIS The actor before him backed out, so Larry Hovis got the spot on Hogan’s Heroes. Sgt. Andrew Carter. He did the pilot episode. I like his jacket. He was a chemist. He did the episode “Request Permission to Escape.” I like his jacket. He was funny. He was on The Andy Griffith Show.

He died in Texas of throat cancer on September 9, 2003.

NITA TALBOT Nita played Marya. She was a spy for Hogan’s gang. She was Russian.

She was funny. I like her dresses. She was friends with LeBeau. I think she was cute. She smoked in the series. I like her coat, her jacket. I like her in the red dress. She was nominated for an Emmy for Best Supporting Actress in of Hogan's Heroes. She’s my favorite actor in the series. She was married twice. She has one kid. She is 93. Happy Holidays to her. I say hi.
