CHRISTMAS ARTICLE

By Lucy P. Ya'll gonna have hot chocoalate, cookies, grab bag gifts, and something from Rose Center. It'd be a good dance party, a good Christmas party. Rose Center is having a Christmas party and we get to join with them. They doing some Christmas carols - Silent Night, Away in a Manger, Up on the Housetop, Feliz Navidad, Susie Snowflake, Joy to the World, Mommy Kissing Santa Claus, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, O Christmas Tree... Marcus will be doing a nice reading about Christmas.

CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY

And we having cookies. We don't know what else we have. I do the box of food and do pack up the food for tomorrow night for the homeless. The homeless do not got no food.

FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS AT NAVY PIER

By Dwight J., Sophia F., and Latoria G. We walked around. We went on a ride, Navy Pier ride. It was a merry-go-round. It was big! You have to walk around. Dwight says, "I was going to buy coffee when we went over there. Next time I want to go with Hannah for coffee." I saw a bunch of Christmas trees with ornaments on it. I saw a lot of people down there.

We went on a ferris wheel. The ferris wheel - It was going like this, high up. We ate McDonalds. We just chill at McDonalds. We had fun! It was pretty good.

VOLUNTEERING FOR THE LESS FORTUNATE

By Lillian D., Lucy P., Dwight J., Rosa M., Willie N., Nikko T., and Vahid M. We did the boxes for the homeless. We made cards for the hungry. The ornaments - snowflakes.

Rosa says, "I colored the snowflake red." We traced the ornaments. It was like a Christmas tree, snowman, and Rudolph! Talk about painting and cutting. Put a snowman and put the glue. Vahid says, "Mark helped me get the snowman, scissors, glue." Talk about pizza. Talk about drink. And then we had some kind of Christmas thing on television. We sang Christmas songs. We sang "Hark!

The Herald Angels Sing" and "O Holy Night." Plus, we had a big thing of pizza! It was about this big.

We had pizza and pop. It filled everybody up. Lucy, Lillian, Rosa, Dwight, Ruth, Nikko, Jamie, Willie, Marcus, Vahid, and Scott. Dwight says, "I'm sad Robert didn't stay." Marty, Mark, Jimmy, Shereece, Jenny, Emma, Catherine, Cindy, Kate, and a surprise guest - Mr. Miyagi/Zander! He shocked me. I didn't know he was coming. It was nice. I had a good time.

I LOVE WORKING ON THE CAMERA

We did the pantry packs.

We do a lot of stuff.

People were doing the arts and crafts. The other person wanted to do the letters for the donations.

We helped the food pizza and drinks. We had fun. I saw Marty and Jenny and Marty's daughter Kate. We communicate with each other. And after that, Jimmy wants me to do the video. I was so happy Jiimmy tell me all things he help me do with the camera. I love work on camera.

By Marcus W. This is a short article about Pantry Food 6. We draw a picture of a food in the box like Christmas Trees, Lights, ornaments, and presents. I hope you will come to Christkindle Market next year. The kids are drawing a nice picture of reindeer to draw a sleigh ride. The kids are having a lot of fun on Tuesday. "I like the article," I said. "Maybe I'll go to Rose Center next year!"

JANET'S GOODBYE PARTY

By Jamie P. I made a hotdog with Jason together. Jason on this side, and me on this side, separated. Get two big pans, hotdogs. After that I flipped the utensil to make sure it's hot. Then we shake it a little bit to make sure it's okay. Then after that we put everything away, then put more in, like three times after we finish that Jason put it inside the container.

He put aluminum foil and put it in the heat, in the oven. After that, me and Jason opened the buns ready. Then he told me to help him put pops, Sprite, and cookies on the table. After that, I put the plates next to me. When the food starts at 11:30-12:00.

Then Kasandra helping the chips and cookies and drinks. Jason really happy. He take picture of me while I was cooking hot dogs and send it to Hannah.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ME!

By Willie N. Today is my birthday, December 17th. I want to have a birthday party, here. I don't know yet. I'm gonna be 35. I want to go back with my real mom and that's my wish. My birthday plan is I wanna twerk. And I might want to go to the club and have a party at a hotel and have a cake, a basketball picture, and a birthday cake with a LeBron James picture, his whole outfit.

MY WEEKEND AND SATURDAY

By Jamie P. I'm going to see my niece in Peoria at Bradley University, and eat there for lunch and dinner. Going to spend time with her for a little bit. I can't go upstairs. She has a cat. They let me stay in the lobby. After that, we leave later around 4:30-6:00. I won't be tired. I'll be falling asleep in the car.

After that, my mom will buy a hot chocolate and Dunkin' Donuts by Harlem. After that, I go home and put my pajamas and relax myself. I really happy. Spend the night with my sister in the house.

We watching a movie on Netflix - murders! That's her favorite thing to do. My mom's always in the room. She puts the TV on while she goes to sleep. That's crazy! Me? I'm in my room by myself, quiet.

I write my journal about my life. I fall asleep from 10:30-11:00 on weekends. On Sunday, I will go out with my new boyfriend named Donald. He'll take me to Lincoln Mall by his house. My mom agreed.

We're going to see him Sunday.

PUMPS AND PEDAL
