Hunger Heroes

We went to Lemont High School. We helped high school kids pack up food. It was 120,000 meals for people in Chicago in need. It was a lot of fun.
Afterwards we had pizza We didn’t know! Rose Center bought us pizza from Costco. We got a new case manager from Rose Center coming here. He’s supposed to come soon. I met him there and I really like him I met a lot of people at Hunger Heroes I don’t mind doing that again!
PLANTING TIME

Hello, my name is Fabian, I like working in the garden with my friends at Nashville In spring, first we pull the weeds out, then turn the dirt over. Then we added compost. We will start planting soon. Me and my brother used to help my mother plant vegetables; my favorites are peppers and tomatoes Last year we grew a lot of vegetables, sometimes on my way home I stop and check on them. The people are nice at the garden they share with us, and we gave them some peppers we had a lot of them I stop to see how the garden is doing sometimes, going home. . I can't wait to start planting this year.

THE SWIM TEST

I really like Unlimited Voices. I like to swim. It makes me feel powerful. And I have fun with my friends. I really like working with people that know how to swim I had fun swimming with people with intellectual disabilities. My friends are really nice to swim with. The test was not hard it was really easy I really enjoyed myself. I had tread in the water swim around three times Then I had to swim in the deep end to the shallow end

ARC OF ILLINOIS CONVENTION

We went to the Marriott Hotel in BloomingtonNormal. Hannah drove. A long drive there. It was raining too I had fun! I ate food, breakfast and lunch Hannah ate too I had a bagel and eggs for breakfast I had roast beef and potatoes for lunch I was at the table all day The Envision table I just sat there and gave out booklets and pamphlets about Envision. Backpacks too. I got one now. And a lanyard. I talked about Westtown. They can visit Westtown and work here with us. Hannah picked me up at 5:45. I was still sleeping! Wake me up at 4:45. I was still asleep in my room, watching TV I had fun Lots of people I never said my speech once On the way back, we listened to The Stooges I brought Curly’s picture with me today Nice table we had out there. Big table. I had two cups of coffee and some juice, iced tea. I refilled the water bottles, lanyards, and bags on the table. I want to go next year and do my speech.
