LA TRICOLOR AND LA SUAVECITA

Entravision Announces New Format and Enhanced Programming Line-Up La Suavecita enhances its programming lineup to align the station’s talent and increase its reach across the greater Los Angeles metro area. Moreover, Entravision introduces its proven La Tricolor format in Los Angeles. La Suavecita, a Grupero/Cumbia format, targeting women aged 25-49 and adults aged 25-54, focuses on its programming lineup based on targeted demographics. La Suavecita can be heard on KSSE, KSSC and KSSD 107.1 FM, serving the Los Angeles metro area. Launched in January 2017, it brings a unique blend of the leading Spanish radio formats to the market, creating a fresh listening experience with its new show line-up featuring Alex “El Genio” Lucas, Piolin and Armida y La Flaka.

La Tricolor, KLYY 97.5 and 103.1 FM in Los Angeles, brings a bold regional Mexican and current hits format with an exceptional variety of on-air talent and shows, targeting adults 18-49. For more than 20 years, it has served audiences as the regional Mexican trendsetter, featuring breaking new music and artists, which has made it the #1 station in a number of its markets.

SUCCESS STORIES NATIONAL SALES TV & Radio New Business Wins In Florida Entravision’s Tampa and Orlando stations benefited from the hard work of Lisa Carreno (NSM Orlando/Tampa TV) and Robert Albright (NSM WNUE-FM Orlando).

Lisa worked hard to get orders from three Zero Share Accounts: the first being NATIONAL VISION, which has been on the Zero Share list for three years. After three years of sharing market data with the agency (MediaVest), Lisa received $73,000 for Orlando TV. Orlando’s WNUE recently received two orders that warrant bragging rights as well...

Robert Albright sold an Orlando Magic (NBA) package to ANA G. MENDEZ UNIVERSITY for $25,000! This is entirely new business. As part of the package Robert included game ticket giveaways at live remotes that drew potential students to the University grounds! Latin2Latin in Miami placed the business.

BOSTON The local Boston sales office was able to secure two new state agency accounts: Massachusetts Lottery and the Massachusetts Department of Health! SVP, Scott McGavick, had been working closely with the state and gathering information from their websites in an effort to be included in their statewide campaigns. Boston has already received an avail from the Lottery for the upcoming 2nd Quarter. The first two orders totaled $75K in new business between Boston and Springfield!

On the National side, Boston was able to close Verizon Fios! Verizon Fios has been rolling out service in the metro area of Boston and the Boston sales office contacted Verizon teams and agencies at local level to urge them to include Spanish language advertising. The 1st Quarter order that came in for National was $75K and is expected to grow into a new business account of $300K for 2018!

These and other smaller new business accounts are what has helped Boston maintain a +20% pace from 1st Quarter to date!

CHAIRMAN’S CIRCLE The Entravision’s Chairman’s Circle Award recognizes our top Sales Producers. These individuals are dedicated and passionate about what they do. Month to month they are making superior sales achievements on Entravision’s top line sales growth. Every IMSC invited to the Chairman’s Circle each month has met at least 100% and 105% of their Digital and Broadcast Goals respectively. DAZZLES DENVER La Tricolor’s Media Community Health Champion Award Colorado’s CHCs chose you as the recipient of this award for your commitment in providing valuable information for your listeners on issues related to immigration and health care. By educating your listeners about their health care options, including Connect for Health coverage options and the services provided by Mountain Family Health Centers, residents of the Roaring Fork Valley are better able to understand their options when it comes to seeking health care services. The La Tricolor’s work in the community and in highlighting issues of importance for Spanishspeaking community members has been inspirational.

We would like to thank Samuel Bernal for his great work and recognition in Aspen.

The National Western Stock Show The National Western Stock Show showcased your favorite western traditions. The 16-day show opened on Saturday, January 6th and ran through January 21st, with everything from ranch rodeo, fiddle competitions, professional bull riding and family-fun dog shows, to the Coors Western Art gallery, a nursery of baby animals, and acres of food and shopping.

The 112th National Western Stock Show rides off into the sunset on the second highest attendance numbers in show’s history at 705,574 visitors throughout the 16 days. The largest Stock Show attendance was in 2006 for the 100th Anniversary with 726,972 guests.

Univision Colorado and La Tricolor are the Spanish language media sponsors for the entire event.

DAZZLES MCALLEN Team McAllen celebrated when our Radio Team received good Ratings in the Fall of 2017 Book.

Monday thru Friday 6am to 7pm, adults aged 18-49 compared it to the previous book, KFRQ and saw a growth of 14%, KVLY by 20%, KKPS by 2%, while KNVO FM remains flat.

SACRAMENTO New Launch of La Suavecita: On January 13th, La Suavecita 104.3FM hosted Explosion Grupero with Los Fugitivos, Bryndis, Industria Del Amor, and Liberacion; hosted by Alex El Genio Lucas.

DAZZLES TAMPA Univision Tampa Bay Reporter, Alexis Boente Arias, Wins an Emmy!

Suncoast Emmy Awards Alexis Boente Arias won an Emmy at the Suncoast Emmy Awards on December 2nd. He was awarded this prize for his writing in the news story ‘Joyas y Guerreros’. The story was shot in Tampa but it discusses the transference of goods that are considered “outdated’’ among the United States into Cuba. Cuba is well known for having cars that date back to the 1950’s and are in perfect working condition. Alexis interviewed Cuban locals who send old car parts to the Island in an effort to help the people in Cuba maintain their cars.

CONSULADO DE MEXICO RECOGNITION Angel Covarrubias, News Director of McAllen, Corpus and Laredo, received this beautiful recognition from the Consulado de Mexico in McAllen for his labor to keep the community informed about available services and resources.

DAZZLES LOS ANGELES Our Open Studios event was held earlier this month. Clients and Ad Agencies were invited to check out our studios and treated to a performance by regional's top youngest star Ulices Chaidez.

MCALLEN Not only was Entravision McAllen recognized as a Sponsor for the McAllen Holiday Parade. The McAllen City Commission Meeting awarded us with an Award for Best Radio Float Design!

Anthony Acosta spent numerous hours designing and overseeing the float design and we would like to thank him for all of his hard work. We would also want to thank all of the teams for all the hours and hard work put into making this event a success.

On December 13th, Crockett Elementary School held its “2nd Annual Angel Tree� program in the school cafeteria. The program provides children in need with gifts during the Holiday season. KORO employees sponsored, collected and hand-delivered several Christmas gifts to the school that included: shoes, clothes, and toys for 15 students enrolled in the program. And of course, Santa was there to greet everyone!

SUPPORTS SACRAMENTO March for the Dream KHHM leads one of the largest MLK marches in the country. Sacramento KHHM Hot 103.5FM’s staff led the way from South Sacramento all the way to the Convention Center.

ORLANDO Entravision Orlando brought Christmas to many children in Central Florida. On its second year, Univision Orlando and 98.1 Salsa y Y MĂĄs wanted to make sure that no kids were left without having a present to open on Christmas Day. As part of this effort, Univision Orlando & 98.1 Salsa y Mas broadcasted live two days in December generating awareness for children in Central Florida to come and pick up their toy. Over 300 children were given toys and enjoyed the Christmas festivities we brought them.
