Prometteur Solutions was started five years ago with an aim to provide software and development services. Making a debut at GITEX Technology Week this year, Pradip Thakar, Managing Director, Prometteur Solutions says – “Prometteur Solutions is big enough to address our client needs and cares for client satisfaction by providing quality service. Our focus is on mobile and web application developments. In mobile, we work in hybrid technology as well as iOS and Android technologies. We have solutions for all IT development needs across all industry verticals. At GITEX, we focused on mobile applications.” Recently, the company has also started focusing on Blockchain and other trending technologies. Prometteur’s go to market strategy is very simple – lowest price and high market. “Currently we have more than 90% clients in Europe. So, we want to explore the Middle East market specially UAE. We have some investments plans in Dubai and expect 10x returns in the next five years,” added Pradip.

GUARDING YOUR DATA Debuting at GITEX, Zecurion provides IT security solutions helping companies to protect against insider threats. Alexey Raevsky, CEO of Zecurion feels that the day started great with several contacts and prospective leads. He says – “The size of the show is huge with many exhibitors and technologies. We are here to showcase our information security solutions for internal protection which is protection from inside threats – Data Loss Prevention, Privileged Access Management and Secure Web Gateway.” Calling Data Loss Protection, the most technologically advanced DLP system, Alexey says more than 10 technologies are used together to minimize errors and false positives. Zecurion Privileged Access Management controls all popular remote access controls and monitors thousands of enterprise systems and devices. Recently, Zecurion bagged the position among the top seven DLP vendors of the world in analytical report “IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Data Loss Protection 2018 Vendor Assessment. In their report, IDC analysts have highlighted Zecurion Device Control solution that monitors and prevents information leakage through USB ports and other local connectors. Talking about the company’s roadmap for the year ahead he says - “We have two new products in line for 2019. We also have plan to become an international company but our major focus shall be on the Middle East and Africa region because of the huge growth here.

REDUCING HUMAN ERROR IN THE WORKPLACE Mimecast is demonstrating its cybersecurity awareness capabilities at GITEX. The company’s newest offering is the Mimecast Awareness Training. The service is designed to offer great training content, risk scoring and real-world simulation attack scenarios. “Organizations are still struggling to educate their employees. 95% of the threats are still through email and comes from lack of awareness – like people clicking malicious links or opening attachments. All these need to be addressed by training the employees. Mimecast Awareness Training is designed to reduce human error in the workplace and help enable organisations to become more secure by changing the security culture of their employees,” said Jeff Ogden, GM of Mimecast Middle East. “Our experts are also performing a series of live hacks that demonstrate the importance of user awareness and show why organisations need to implement adequate protection against advanced cyberattacks. We are combining our live hack with our analyst feedback. Mimecast’s threat intelligence analyst, Kirsty Kelly will explain the importance of embracing a cyber resilience strategy. Talking about the year 2019, Jeff said - “Data integration is taking place and in the next couple of quarters, we shall make that integration tighter and more interesting for customers. And then there are lot of things coming along in term of intelligence aspects that we are looking at – how we can make sure we are getting a better sense of the way malware is changing overtime.”
