Savor the summertime along the beautiful Rhine River. Sail from Basel, Switzerland, to Germany’s fertile Black Forest and visit the wine country near Baden. Arrive the next morning in Strasbourg, France. Meander through La Petite France, and sample the local foie gras, tarte fl ambée, and sparkling Crème d’Alsace. From Ludwigshafen, take off for Heidelberg or spend the day hiking up Philosopher’s Way. Next up, the picturesque vineyards of Rüdesheim and a relaxing aft ernoon cruise through the Rhine Gorge.
