PrimeSource adds Wolf to its brands PrimeSource Brands has signed a deal to acquire Wolf Home Products from affiliates of Tenex Capital Management. Based in York, Pa., Wolf is a provider of branded kitchen and bath, outdoor living, and specialty exterior building products for residential applications with more than 175 years of history behind the company. Under the financial sponsorship of Clearlake Capital Group. Financial terms were not disclosed. Primesource acquired Tampa-based Nationwide Industries in May. Among its offerings, Wolf designs and supplies cabinetry, vanities, countertops, decking, and railing, among other residential building products. Owners Pam and Steve Lipshutz told “Block Club Chicago: “It’s just time.” Developers intend to convert the single-story store into a mixed-use apartment building.

Closing sales were ongoing at press time at Coronado Hardware, a beach town store that promoted “Bait & Tackle” and “ a little bit of everything” on its sign. The ownership family continues to operate Anchor Hardware in Oak Hill, Fla. A Coronado Hardware post on Facebook explained: “It’s exhausting trying to keep two businesses open.”
