Volunteer Recognized for 29 Years of Service

Ms. Frances Richardson of Alto, N.M., was recognized at the annual ENMU Foundation Summer Barbecue at the ENMU President’s home in Portales on June 30, 2007, for her twenty-nine years of service to the ENMU Foundation from August 1978 through April 2007. Ms. Richardson was committed to the success of Eastern New Mexico University through her dedicated leadership. Along with the other ENMU Foundation Board of Directors, she helped increase the Foundation assets from $5,658 in 1978 to $7,167,815 as of February 28, 2007. The ENMU Board of Regents publicly recognized Ms. Richardson with a formal resolution recognizing her years of dedicated service to ENMU.

Longtime ENMU Foundation board member Mr. Tommy Joe Smith of Clovis, N. M., was also recognized on June 30th for his twenty-seven years of service to the ENMU Foundation.
