Stronger Together!
Spring Breeze Sophomore Felicia Adizue (10) plays a traditional Taiwanese Folk Song Called ™Spring Breeze∫ during a preformance for Culture Week! ™As aTaiwanese Nigerian American, I felt it was important to share my culture and traditions with Enloe∫ says Felicia. Having such a diverse ethnic backgroud can cause struggle when trying to express her full self; however, this is the opportunity that Culture Week allows its students to have, to truley show their true colors with pieces direclty from their Culture. During this performace, Felicia also prefromed a tradtional Korean piece with Jaeyee Jung (12), and as Felicia desribes as an ™AmazingViolinist.∫ Although Felicia is not directly from Korean descent, she was quick to agree to play in front of a crowd to help show the Students of Enloe, a truley inspring Korean piece,™Although we are of different Asian decents, the moment we shared playing theses pieces really connected us on a personal, muscial, and cultural level∫ Felicia adds when talking about her thoughts of the performance. This makes it very apparent that at Enloe, all students are quick to give a helping hand to one another, no matter the cause. It's great to see students like this who strive to be able to represent culture, even if it is not their own, and that is exactly what cultutre week is all about!

Prithu Neog!
Front and Center Prithu Neo (10) has done it once again! Prithu is notorious around Enloe Highschool for concerts held live during school hours, and during culture week he surly blew everyone away. He has always wanted to incorperate his culture into his music, to truly show what he, and his ancestors truly stand for. Prithu remarks ™Culture means everything to me because it's a lens from which I can express myself through. It's a opportunity to share a musical experience with my ancestors in the way they intended music to be listened to, and I think that is a beautiful thing.∫ It is truly a great thing to see someone not only do what they love, but to be their truest self whist doing so. Prithu can only express positive memories from his experience from culture week, he has nothing but gratitude for the opportunity Enloe has allowed him.
