There is a registration fee of US$ 100.00 per student applicable on all courses except the evening course which is US$ 50.00 Beginners (Level A1) are only accepted for individual tuition. If after initial acceptance a student is found to be a Beginner they will be offered the cost-equivalent number of individual lessons or the possibility of transferring to a full-time programme of individual lessons at extra cost Public holidays in Barbados 2017: Monday 2 January, Monday 23 January, Friday 14 April, Monday 17 April, Friday 28 April, Monday 1 May, Monday 5 June, Tuesday 1 August, Monday 7 August, Thursday 30 November, Monday 25 December, Tuesday 26 December. CLC closes on Friday 22 December 2017 and reopens on Tuesday 2 January 2018.

18+ English Language Holiday Course This includes: 1. Tuition on the Standard 18+ English Language Course Hours per week: 15 hours (09.00-12.15) 2. An inclusive social programme introducing students to the life, culture and tourist attractions of Barbados - two half day events each week.

3. There is an optional full-day excursion offered at the weekend at extra cost.

Intensive 18+ English Language Combination Course This is the Standard 18+ English Language Course with additional individual lessons to meet the specific language needs of the client. Between 1 and 10 hours of individual lessons can be booked each week.

Individual tuition is available for students who want:   

to prepare for an English language examination e.g. TOEFL, CPE to improve their English in a business or work-related context to have lessons in English for Special Purposes e.g. Medical English, Aviation English

1 to 10 maximum

Clients can book individual tuition without the 15 hours of tuition on the Standard 18+ English Language Course.

Teenagers and Young Learners Closed group courses are offered throughout the year at CLC on Golf Club Road or at The Codrington School (The International School of Barbados) in the parish of St John.

These courses are tailor-made to take the needs and special interests of the group into account.

Courses typically include:     

High School Programmes The Codrington Language Centre works closely with The Codrington School www.codrington.edu.bb The Codrington School is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School which is authorized to offer all three of the IB's 'gold standard' educational programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), for children generally aged three through eleven; the Middle Years Programme for students generally aged between 11 and 16; and the Diploma Programme (DP), for young people generally aged 16 through 18.

In 2014 all Codrington’s IB DP graduates were successful.

The school currently has learners from 28 different nationalities. Its well-qualified teachers come from eighteen different countries. In addition there is an Admission and Screening Fee of US$ 300.00 This fee ensures the processing of the application for admission and is not refundable.

Accommodation is with specially selected homestays at US$ 50.00 per day with breakfast and dinner in a shared room with a supplement of US$ 10.00 per day if a packed lunch is required.

From the second day they take the bus, which is easy and cheap (US$ 1.00 to anywhere on the island).

Self-Catering Studio Accommodation at Rockley Resort      

Airport Transfers FREE airport transfers are provided for all students in homestay accommodation. Hosts collect students from the airport on arrival and take them back to the airport at the end of their stay.

Students in self catering or hotel accommodation can book a transfer through Codrington Language Centre if required. The charge is US$ 25.00 for a one-way transfer.
