Discussion Series Posted
The Exploring Growing Together discussion series will offer a special December series on Thursdays, Dec. 8 and 15, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in lower-level Room 103 at Lititz United Methodist Church, 201 E. Market St., Lititz.
The series will include a discussion of 9/11 through the lens of a personal loss in the midst of a national tragedy as shared by Ann Van Hine. She will share her story of navigating the loss of her firefighter husband, Bruce. Since 2006, Ann has volunteered as a docent with the 9/11 Tribute Museum. On Dec. 15, she will share a virtual tour of the new World Trade Center and memorial as well as the importance of volunteerism.
Attendees are asked to enter the building through the back parking lot entrance double glass doors, not the side entrance. Participants are invited to bring their lunch to eat during discussions, if desired.
The forum discussion series aims to offer a safe learning environment in which to discuss and explore diverse topics and beliefs with respect to everyone sharing. Contact Linda at 717-626-0745 or raven303@ptd.net with questions and suggestions or to obtain a schedule. Masks are optional.
