UKGSA TO TOUR ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY BUSINESS Members of the UK Gasket & Sealing Association (UKGSA) have secured a technical tour of Prodrive, a world-leading motor-sport and advanced technology business, on 19 March 2020.
UKGSA Members will tour Prodrive’s headquarters and discover the design and engineering that goes into projects such as championship race and rally cars to complex active aero systems for hyper cars, electric and hybrid vehicles. During the two hour tour, Members will find out about Prodrive’s innovative engineering work in the automotive, aerospace, marine and other sectors, as well as the design and manufacture of advanced lightweight composites for a range of applications. The UKGSA is a trade association representing the specialised interests of companies engaged in the conversion of materials into gaskets and seals. The UKGSA organise a number of social and technical events during the year which are open to non-members. The technical visits & tours showcase insights into advanced manufacturing, best practice and technical developments.
