This option controls how far in the Y direction a link will be offset. Import/Export These buttons allow you to import or export your link settings. Using these values, you can set a culling range of 10 feet and a Max Icons setting of 25 to allow for easier viewing. These customizable options will change from project to project and allow you to take control of links in your scene.
Adding Leader Lines to Links In addition to toggling between 2D and 3D views of attached links, you can add leader lines, which help distinguish what objects the link is referencing. In the Links Options Editor, specify a value of approximately 40 for the X and Y Leader Offsets.
When links are displayed, they will be customized to show a leader line or arrow toward the attachment point of the object.
